In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the quest “For the Devil’s Pack” takes players deep into the Kuttenberg region, where a suspicious character named Bohuta holds more than just secrets. Hidden within this quest is an optional side activity that leads to a buried treasure (if you’re observant and willing to break a few rules!)
How to Get Bohuta’s Treasure Map

During the quest, you’ll encounter Bohuta at a church in Kuttenberg. Engage him in conversation, and pay close attention to what he says. At one point, he makes an offhand remark: “I hope nobody robs me.” This isn’t just idle chatter, it’s your clue that he’s carrying something valuable.

After the dialogue ends, wait for an opportunity to sneak behind Bohuta. Use the Rob (pickpocket) mechanic while in stealth. In his inventory, you’ll find:
- Some keys
- Jewelry
- An apple
- A map
Take the map and leave the rest if you wish to follow the same path.
Interpreting the Map

Once the map is in your possession, check it in your inventory. At first glance, it may look like it depicts the church you just came from, but that’s a red herring. The actual location is in the south, between Miskowitz and Pschitoky.

The key to finding the treasure is identifying a fence with a gap in the middle, located in a field. This visual clue from the map will guide you to the burial site.

Treasure Contents

Inside the grave, you’ll find a modest but valuable stash:
- Weapons
- Bolts (ammunition for crossbows)
- Armor
While none of the gear is game-breaking, it’s useful if you’re starting out or short on funds. Even if you don’t plan to equip the items, selling them can earn you a decent amount of Groschen.
Bohuta’s treasure is a great example of how Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 rewards players for paying close attention to dialogue and using stealth creatively. If you’re already pursuing the “For the Devil’s Pack” quest, taking a detour to uncover this hidden loot can give you an early edge (without even needing to fight a single enemy). Stay alert, trust your instincts, and remember that it pays to steal some every now and then. Before you go, I also have a guide for the Chiaroscuro Quest as well!
