Playing Idle RPG games like the new Lightning Princess may seem a little bit too easy at first, from the genre alone you’d probably expect to be able to take on anything overnight. But setting yourself up to be able to get through most of the game unattended might get rather confusing.
Since you’ll be playing the game in real time, expect a lot of things to happen all at once. If you want to be able to take control of the battlefield while you’re away from your phone, then feel free to read the guide below.
We also have a few codes the game is giving away for free that you’re definitely going to want!
Beginners Guide & Codes
Let’s start out with the code first as the game is only giving out one coupon at the moment. In order to make use of the code, access the settings at the bottom left corner of your screen. Interact with that and you’ll see a gear icon which will take you to your settings page.
Check the bottom of the page where it says Coupon. Click on that to open a whole new window where it’s going to ask you to enter a code. Enter the code “WELCOME” to get 5000 rubies to help you get started.
The rewards don’t stop there though. Next, you’re going to want to open your mail to get your Pre-Registration rewards. You can find the mail icon just above the gear settings.
Notice how they’re locked when you first jump into the game? All you have to do is click on the lock icon to find out what quest you need to finish to get the rewards.
The guide quest you’ll need to do will be visible on the upper left side of your screen. Close your mail in order to see it. Be on the lookout for the specific quest number if you want to unlock your rewards.
Don’t worry, the rewards will stay in your mailbox for a long time. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to get those quests done and open the rewards once you learn the game.
Beginners Guide
Not only do you get the pre-reg rewards for completing guide quests, but you get Rubies as well. Rubies are the premium currency used in the world of Lightning Princess. You also get Rubies along with other rewards from clearing dungeons.
You can find the different Dungeons and Towers you can visit at the bottom right of your screen. This is where you get Promotions as well along with the Arena.
Beware though, early on the game will trick you into using your Rubies to purchase Summon Relics. You’ll find those tricks telling you to use Summons in the Guide Quests. If you get to those quests go ahead and do it for the sake of clearing the quest. Anything beyond that is a waste of your rubies.
That’s the chest icon on the lower left side of your screen. Do not waste your Rubies on these relics whatsoever. There’s plenty of other ways to summon for Equipment and Accessories.
One of them involves watching ads. Leave your phone for a few minutes while you prepare a bowl of Gamer Supps, do that to get Keys. Keys are a good way to open chests for your Summons.
What you want to save your Rubies for are your skins. Access your skins by clicking on the backpack icon at the bottom center of your screen. Opening your backpack will show you your Equipment, Relics, Skins, and Skill Runes.
All of the skins you can see in this section can be bought with your Rubies. Unlike other games where skins are only cosmetic, skins in this game gives you different bonuses you can make use of.
You can easily get the top tier skin just by using your Rubies. The best tier skins are ranked S. That will cost you 40,500 Rubies.
To make the most out of the bonuses, you need to complete the entire set. Scroll over to where it says Weapon and Backpack to see the matching pieces of equipment.
What you want to do next is make changes to your skills when building your character. You can find that section in between your equipment and the relics page.
Each one of your skills equipped here will have their own substats. These are stats you can reroll in order to get the specific set you want. To find these substats click on the icon below the button that says “Unequip.”
As per usual, you want to aim for the stats sitting on S or A Tier. You can do that by clicking on the multiplier on the right. This will bring up a new page that will ask you to expend items called Mysterious Beads. You can get those beads from getting loot in general.
That’s where the Arena comes in handy, well the Arena Shop specifically. You can get at least 100 Mysterious Beads there and come back to your skills page. From that point, you can upgrade your stats up to seven times to boost your attack or other skills.
And that’s the beginners guide for Lightning Princess Idle RPG. Don’t burn down the kitchen while you’re doing a dungeon raid!
