The Gacha game craze in the west is slowing down but there are still some gacha games out there that are releasing for the western market.

Limbus Company is the newest game out there and its gameplay can be a bit more challenging than the other gacha games out there. Learning mechanics from a new game can be daunting, and learning how to use your resources is even more so!

In this guide, we’ll show you what to use Egoshards on in the game so that you don’t waste them on stuff that doesn’t matter! Now let’s get started!

Beginner Egoshard Guide For Limbus Company

What are Egoshards anyway?

Well, they’re a type of currency in the game that you can get through missions or even through mail when the developers are nice enough to give us free stuff. These Egoshards can be used for many things and one of them is increasing the tier of your character.

If you want a short-term burst in power for your team you can use Egoshards to increase the tier of your identities, especially for the 00 and 000 Identities since increasing their tier can unlock more passive and active skills.

These skills can drastically increase the effectiveness of your team from one character alone.

Egoshards can also be used for getting E.G.Os and increasing the tier of those EGOs. This is more of a long-term effect since increasing the ranks of EGOs can unlock some strong passives but they are usually most effective if you build around them and set your team composition to suit those up-tiered EGOs.

Remember that these EGOs can still be equipped for your characters even though they are low-tier. So even if the character is at Tier 1 they can still benefit from the EGOs.

When you look at where to spend Egoshards the EGOs can go a long way since as more content is dropped in the game, these EGOs can still be useful as long as you know how to build around them, but if you want a more short term power boost then you can spend them to up tier your characters instead!
