When you’re just starting out in Limbus Company you might be confused about what to do in the game. There are so many mechanics to keep an eye out for, and so many different things thrown at you that we can’t blame you for getting confused.
Here are some tips and tricks for avoiding some big mistakes in Limbus Company.
Rarity ain’t Everything
Limbus Company is a Gacha game, and with that most people who are new might just jump in and try to pull for the rare characters. Rarity in Limbus Company is shown by the amount of 0’s on their cards, with 0 being common and 000 being the rarest.
Usually the rarer the character the better they are. That’s not really the case in Limbus Company.
Characters work best in a well-made team and no one character really stands out unless you focus your entire team on the skills and abilities of that one character. Not only that but there are characters out there that are simply better in lower rarity than others simply because of their skills or passives.

You can complete the game and get a lot of fun out of it by not even pulling the Gacha in this game so don’t worry about Identity Rarity.
E.G.O. Hunting Isn’t Required
Most guides on Youtube often show you these EGOs that YOU MUST HAVE or something like that.
No, you don’t need those, like I said before, the default things you get can let you go through the game easily. That goes for EGOs as well, no need to try to get those must-have EGOs and ruin your day by being blocked by RNG.
Use Your Energy!
There’s one thing that both YouTubers and most people agree though, and that is that you should always use your Energy.
When you play the game you might notice that your energy at the start goes way beyond your maximum, but it doesn’t stay that way for long. It’s the game’s way to time-gate you from progression and is an easy way for them to sell you energy. Resist the temptation!
The Energy window is also where you can gain Enkephalin Modules, seen in the Modules tab.
Enkephalin Modules and Mirror Dungeons
The Enkephalin Modules are basically currency keys you use to enter randomly generated dungeons called Mirror Dungeons that you’ll unlock through the story.
These Mirror Dungeons are your main way of gaining materials and XP later on so keep that in mind. The good thing about Mirror Dungeons is that you don’t need to worry about levels since Mirror Dungeons has its own leveling system.
In Mirror Dungeons you can be rewarded with all sorts of stuff, one of the main things you’d want though is the Training Tickets. These are basically experience boosters for your characters since the further they go in levels, the harder it is to level them up.
These Training Tickets can help and they have multiple tiers of +50 EXP all the way up to +1000 EXP.
Learning the Mechanics and Combat
