Lords of The Fallen 2023 is finally out and gives Soulsborne players a necessary fix for their favorite genre. There are various unique items that you can obtain in the game, some of which seem quite brutal. This includes the Severed Hands that you can even trade in at a certain merchant for items in exchange.
However, it isn’t clear how exactly you are supposed to get your hands (no pun intended) on some severed hands. They aren’t items that are easily available like other items in the game. In this guide, we will show you how to get Severed hands and also where to trade them in. Let’s dive in.
How To Get Severed Hands
Before we get into how to get Severed Hands, it is important that we show you why you need them.
There is a certain area that you need to unlock in the game first which is the Shrine of Adyr. You can fast travel or Warp to the Shrine from your Vestige if you have unlocked it.
When you spawn into the Shrine, turn right from the Vestige and look into the corner of the large chamber. You should see a horrifying looking throne which is the Shrine of Adyr.
Interact with it and you will get the option to Purchase.
Select this option and you will see that you can purchase items in exchange for Severed Hands. You can do this by pressing the Donate option, but you will need quite a bit of Severed Hands to be able to purchase the items.
The only clue that you are given is that you have Insufficient Severed Hands and that you need to Slaughter other Lamp Bearers to acquire more. We’ll show you how you can fulfill these requirements.
Start by returning to the Vestige and interacting with it. At the bottom of the Menu, you will see the Multiplayer option.
If you do not see it, it means that you need to enable Multiplayer and ensure that you are connected to the internet.
Select the Multiplayer option and this will open another menu. At the bottom, you will see the Slaughter lamp bearer option.
What this does is basically loads you into a random person’s session by invading them. They are given a notification that you are invading them.
So, before you invade them, make sure that you are prepared for the fight. This is because it is a PvP fight, and your opponent may be very skilled.
It is also possible that you join into a Co-op Session which means a 2v1 fight is also possible, which is even more challenging.
Once you load into their session, you will be able to see the player’s username and approach them.
Defeating the player will allow you to get Severed Hands. You should be able to get about 9 Severed Hands from one fight. These fights can be very difficult, so be prepared for grinding for Severed Hands.
Once you have enough Severed Hands, you can return to the Shrine and Donate the Severed Hands. Something tells us that the owners of those hands will not be happy about this trade!
That’s everything you need to know about getting Severed Hands in Lords of The Fallen 2. The game doesn’t tell you exactly where it is, but you will basically need to go through the PvP section. These fights are against real players who are very tough, so don’t worry if you don’t defeat them at first. They can be great practice that will help you improve your combat in this grueling game!
