Does It Have Co-Op From Start To Finish?
The answer is yes, the game does have co-op mode for you to play with friends from start to finish. This is a perfect thing for newer players, since you will always want to get some help against some of the huge bosses in the game.
With the Co-Op feature, you can team up with only one player and form a party of two.
You and your partner will be able to explore different regions of the map, fight enemies, gain attributes and enhancements. This will greatly help your progression as you fight until the end game bosses.
What makes this multiplayer mode different is that it doesn’t rely on in-game items. Instead, this game offers you a seamless multiplayer experience, meaning that you can hop into anyone’s game at anytime. Without item or progression requirements, joining a friend will become much easier.
If you, or your co-op partner gets defeated in battle, there is also the revive feature. This will let the host player revive in the umbral realm if they die and they can still return to the normal world.
If the other player dies, the host can then revive them. This will help retain the progress for both players, which is another great thing about the multiplayer mode of the game.
Now, you are probably wondering how you’re going to be able to invite friends into your world. In order to do that, you’ll need to use your pause menu and find the social section.
You can also select the options to choose whether you and your partner will travel to Umbral.
Lastly, another co-op experience the game gives you is PvP modes. There has been little information regarding this, so the only thing we know is that you are able to compete in PvP against other players. More information on this will be out as the game comes closer to its release.
