Madison: Cathedral Walkthrough | Colored Maze Guide

Madison is a very interesting secrets-and-puzzle kind of game that required you to keep your brain active and look for clues at all times. In this guide, we will be taking a look at how to pass the Cathedral with its Colored Mazes. Let’s get started.

Cathedral Walkthrough | Colored Mazes Guide – Madison

First, once you start at this level you will want to go to the lighted corner. Here is where you’ll find the yellow candle. Pick it up and then also take the photo of the 1987 Sign to travel back in time. Walk to the room with the signs and something is supposed to happen.

Now walk around in the dark and take the 2 paintings that are located in the Bell tower to see what color they represent. You will need to do this both on the middle and the left painting.

Now go to the bell room and here is where you’ll need to pick up the red candle. It will be on the floor in-between these two rooms. Go to the 1951 Sign now to travel even further back in time. You will need to take a photo from this sign for this to happen too.

There will be a blue candle under the sign that you photographed a second ago now. Pick it up. Walk around the church area and you’ll find a woman. Talk to her.

Next, take a photo of the 2 paintings in this time period travel again to see what color they represent. The same ones from before.

Now you will come to the biggest step that you’ll need to complete in this whole stage. Here you will encounter and need to go through the colored mazes.

You will walk through the mazes until the color that they have will match the ones on the paintings from before. The photos that you took just before will represent the colors of the mazes that you will need to find them in.

There will be 4 mazes in total. It will be one maze for each color. In each time period, there will be 1 maze with a different color too. So the key is, that if neither of these mazes matches the color of this time period, it means you will have to travel to a different time period and try your luck with the maze here.

Once you will find a maze that will match the correct color and time travel period, you will need to place a candle that is the same color as the maze. You will need to place it just under the painting.

Once you place each candle go back to the Main Church Area. Here you’ll need to talk to the woman and if she talks, it means that you got it right and you can keep on going. She will spawn and give you the candles that you need to proceed. For example, she will give you a green candle.

Once you have placed all the 4 candles in their correct places, return to the Bell Tower to get a key. You will hear the bell ringing so simply follow the sound.

Now with this Key, you can open the Confession Booth finally. Go there, open the door, and enter it. Inside you’ll find a Letter on the ground. This will be your Letter 1. After this return to the 1987 period and place the I in the Pedestal below Madison’s Coffin. Then simply take a photo of it and you’ll get the Skull.

Finally, Exit the door that will be right in front of you.

Congratulations! You have successfully passed the Colored maze and the Cathedral. I hope this guide was of some help. Good luck!
