Keycards in any video game are pretty important as they unlock secrets and powerful weapons you might remember obtaining keycards in Resident Evil 2 and you obtain a shotgun and a whole lot of ammo and grenades, exploration with a little bit of caution is the best way to approach Sons of the Forest cuz you don’t know what’s lurking out there in the middle of the night and today we’re going to talk about the location of the Maintenance Keycard in this game.
Sons Of The Forest – Where to find the Maintenance Keycard
The first thing you’ll need to do is turn on your GPS so you can check your location on the map.
As a quick tip, though, it’s still up to you to explore the area and ensure you don’t get lost because you have a GPS with you, which makes navigation much simpler than it was in the original The Forest game.
The maintenance keycard is actually located here. As shown in the image above, the location features what seems like a double beach in the bottom corner, is encircled by trees, and has slabs of rocks on it.
As you’ll be doing a lot of digging on this one, you should make sure to bring a shovel with you once you’re in that location.
Once you’ve finished shoveling, you’ll see what seems like a door on the ground. Just walk up to it, interact with it, and you’ll access an underground facility.
This is where we’re going to find that maintenance keycard that we needed.
Simply continue walking upon entering the underground facility and turn right when you reach an open wooden door.
When you enter that room, you’ll see a lot of items similar to those in the cluttered living room; simply glance to your left and you’ll see a desk with a laptop and some magazines.
On that desk is where the maintenance keycard is located.
