In MEGA Boss Survival, you and a whole bunch of other players in the lobby will take on endless waves of boss enemies that range from easy to insanely hard. With the latest update comes a huge event, which features a bunch of valuable and rare rewards. In this guide, we will be showing you how to get the Cherno Alpha Jaeger mech, which is one of the said rewards!
How to Get Cherno Alpha Jaeger
For those unaware, there is currently a Comeback Event in MEGA Boss Survival that has various rewards if you can complete all kinds of objectives. Those rewards include this cool sword that I unlocked by going through a pretty easy obby.
One of the top rewards, however, is the Cherno Alpha Jaeger, which is a giant green mech that you can unlock by completing a set of secret objectives. It is actually pretty easy, and all you need to do is carefully follow the steps in the next section to get it!
Step #1. Teleporting to Quest 2
For the first step, click on the red QUESTS button on the right hand side of the screen. Scroll down to Quest #2: Hidden Treasure and click on the teleport button. This will instantly take you to a new map.
Once you spawn into the world, go outside the building and head over to the cliffs in the screenshot below. Be careful and don’t fall off the edge once you’re up there! At least not yet!
Once you are up there, line your camera up so you can see the secret cave below. All you need to do from here is carefully jump down and land onto the cave. If you are afraid of falling off the map, try tapping S slowly until your character starts to drop down, then quickly hold W.
Upon getting to the cave, you should find a green portal right in front of you. Enter this and you will be teleported to a new map, which looks almost the same but with a red filter.
Step #2. Find Another Secret Cave
Step outside of the building again and head to the water in front of the beach chairs. All you need to do from here is keep swimming downwards until you fall into a hole that takes you to another secret cave.
From here, just follow the hallways until you reach the end of the “maze”. I am using the word “maze” very loosely here, as the dead ends are all just a few inches away from each possible path, so you literally cannot get lost as you go through it.
Near the end, there will be a few narrow ledges that you have to carefully navigate. Just take your time so that you don’t fall off and you’ll be fine. Again, there is basically only a single path that you can follow here, so just keep going forward.
At the very end, you will see a large fallen mech. This is the Cherno Alpha Jaeger, and all you need to do is touch it in order to unlock the thing. Make sure that you wait for the achievement in the lower right corner of the screen before you leave just to be sure.
Once the achievement / badge appears, as seen in the screenshot below (username reveal, oh my), you can now click on the “GO BACK” button to teleport back into the main game.
How to Equip It
Once you are back in the main game, open up your inventory and scroll down to your event rewards. There, you will find the Cherno Alpha Jaeger, which you can now equip to your backpack.
Now that it is in your backpack, switch to it so you can spawn it right in front of you. From here, just climb up the metal pillars on either of its legs and jump right into the center of the mech to take control.
I’m not gonna lie to you, I have no idea how to actually use this thing, so feel free to explore the controls on your own. I just ended up flying around randomly and doing nothing to the current boss in the lobby.
And that is pretty much everything you need to know in order to unlock this limited time reward mech in the game.
