Metroid Prime Remastered – How To Get The Grapple Beam | Grapple Beam Location

Spinning puzzles to go up!

There’s an old game that’s been remastered and now it looks good as new!

Metroid Prime has been remastered and it has modern graphics paired with quality-of-life choices, but don’t worry since it doesn’t take away from the feel of the original game.

It doesn’t experiment with different stories or that kind of malarkey like other remasters so you can enjoy the game as it was intended!

For new players though the game can be quite difficult to run around and find stuff so in this guide we’ll show you where to find the Grapple Beam in the game!

How To Get The Grapple Beam | Grapple Beam Location In Metroid Prime Remastered

There are so many different upgrades you can find throughout Metroid Prime and most of them can help you traverse the many different areas of the game.

Even weapons like the Super Missile can be used to solve puzzles and unlock areas in the game that couldn’t be reached without it. That’s why it’s great to find all of the upgrades so you can explore and progress more throughout the levels.

This is where you can find the Grapple Beam in the game!

The Grapple Beam can be found in a small room near the Ore Processing area at the Surface Level of Phazom Mines.

The thing is you’ll need to set up the central machine in the middle of the room to get there.

It’s sort of a puzzle with 3 rotating parts, the top, middle, and bottom.

Each piece is controlled by going into your spider ball form and entering the machines shown above.

For the top one trigger it twice for it to turn twice.

Then for the middle one, you’ll need to trigger it 3 times.

Then finally the bottom one only needs to be triggered once.

With everything set up correctly, you can then go to the bottom and use the spider ball track to get up and follow the path to the room.

The room is blocked by debris so you’ll need to clear it out first. Then inside the room is the Grapple Beam upgrade!
