Platformers today have picked up a thing or two from other genres, one of them would include backtracking.

A welcome chore in any game especially if you have a sizeable level like the Chozo Ruins. Places like that always have more stories to tell on your second or third return.

Of course, you’re not only returning to various places to uncover more of the story, you’re doing that because there’s something you may have missed along the way. Things like the Super Missile!

Such an upgrade is required to progress through the story but that doesn’t mean it’ll be handed to you on a silver platter, that’s where we come in to help!

How To Get The Super Missile | Super Missile Location | Metroid Prime Remastered

If you know your Metroid then you’re aware of how important the Super Missile is when it comes to your Charge Combos. That and you require it to be able to destroy Cordite that will block your path.

Just like with most upgrades, you will have to work for it first!

You can find the upgrade in Phendrana Drifts over at the Observatory area of the research station.

Once you’re in the room jump onto the platform on your right and Morph Ball into the sunken area of the wall. The camera will pan to the next hole in the wall so keep on jumping until you get to it.

After all that you will have to jump down to the center and activate the bomb slot.

You will have to use Boost Ball next at least four times until the projection appears, Samus will then scan the holograms of Zebes and Tallon IV.

This will give you access to the upper doors as well so jump back onto the platforms and right above the hologram is where you will get the Super Missile.

Now go see if you can get yourself!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
