I know why you’re here, you’re here because someone slipped right through the base you built with little to no difficulty. That or you’re looking for a design that can’t be easily broken without trying it out for yourself personally.

Either way, I’m right, Minecraft Legends PvP can be quite challenging sometimes, and watching your base get torn apart can be frustrating if it happens one too many times. Read the base build guide if you want to know more about how you can ruin an invader’s day by making a wooden labyrinth disguised as a fortress!

Ultimate PvP Base Build Guide | Minecraft Legends

If you’re starting on a fresh PvP map then you best scout the area as soon as possible, whichever base is sitting on the nicest-looking hill in the game will most likely win later on.

While you’re out scouting you might as well keep an eye out for your enemy and see what they’re up to. In this game mode, information is everything.

For starters, your base should have a few layers of walls, this goes double for the ones that are within reach of your tower. That’s what you’re trying to protect after all.

Try to have at least three rings worth of walls around it, with the gates placed in the worst possible places to make sure the enemy understands that you don’t like them very much.

Place Ice Traps behind some of these walls and make sure that there’s a gap in between them that can still be easily defended. The way the AI works is that they will target areas that come off to them as weak, and a gap in the wall is basically you handing your tower over a silver platter.

Towers can be placed here as well in case someone breaks through and manages to destroy the traps you have lying around.

Your walls won’t be doing much if an enemy comes rolling in with a Beetle, a fly swatter would do you well at this time, but that’s not an option so the next best deterrent would be Protector and Scatter Towers.

In order to get better towers you’re going to have to build the Improvement Hub. Plop a few of these down and surround it with the defensive structures that you need.

Don’t forget to build a Masonry, Carpenter’s Hut, and Kaboomery inside of your walls for that extra layer of protection.  The carpentry fixes any walls that get breached, while the masonry upgrades anything wooden into stone, making it last a while longer.

To further emphasize the importance of having a Kaboomery, this structure will add an explosive element to all of your towers nearby, making your defenses all the more painful to deal with.

Not all the golems will be gunning for the tower, that still depends on the player controlling them so having this building in your base will definitely halt their advance if you know what you’re doing.

And that’s it for this PvP Base Build Guide, it’s all about picking a good location for your base if you have the luxury of time along with keeping your upgrades intact. If someone ever slips by you and takes those out first your defenses will surely suffer, so keep a close eye on them along with the rest of your base.

Think like the enemy while you’re testing everything out to know all of the possible angles they’ll come from!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
