MIR4: Crafting Guide

Make yourself stronger by learning to craft your own equipment and boons in this succinct crafting guide!

While going through the story and main quests in MIR4 can be successfully done with “vanilla” equipment, there are some gameplay aspects that will require a better gear level than you usually have. Raids, world bosses, and PVP are some of the major examples that benefit greatly from crafted gear.

There are several Crafting options you can choose from to better your gear and most of them are related to each other. These are namely: Crafting, Combining, Using the Mystic Incense Burner, Unsealing and Exchange. Certain NPCs in the world can also be beneficial for crafting.

Let’s go over the basics, shall we?

  • Crafting is the most basic function in the game that allows accessibility for better gear. Simply go to your menu and tap on Craft > Crafting tab

You have different options to choose from like equipment, medicine and the likes. Enhancing can also be found under the craft equipment tab.

  • Combining is where you want to go when you want higher tier materials from the low tier once you’ve acquired them.  Simply go to Craft > Combine to get to this section.

Combining requires 4 items of the same type and grade in order to advance their quality.  It’s all up to luck, though, as you won’t always get a higher-grade item using this function.

  • When combining a rare-epic item results in failure, you’ll get a Mystic Incense burner point. This is the pity-roll mechanic of the game. Once you reach 25 points, you are guaranteed to receive crafting materials at the same grade of the incense burner.
  • Unseal can be accessed from the Craft> Unseal tab. It allows you to unseal the sealed boxes you get in game for sweet loot. You can also decrease the unsealing time by receiving Clan Support or using speed up items.
  • Exchange is accessible through Craft > Exchange tab.  This is where you can exchange equipment to get a different one of the same grade and tier

NOTE: Exchanging the equipment resets its enhancement level and enchantment.

Now that we’re done with the basics, why not try crafting yourself? Good luck!
