Camping in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is more than just being an annoying rat to your enemies; it’s about strategic thinking, providing vision, and anticipating enemy movements.
In this guide, I’ll give you 10 tips that you can use to elevate your camping game and catch your opponents off guard more!
How To Master Camping As A Roamer – Tank Guide
Tip #1 Conceal & Unconventional Bushes
First up, make sure to utilize unconventional bushes, as well as the Conceal item active to maneuver past enemy minions and turrets undetected on the map.
Surprise your foes by camping where they least expect, such as near the turrets, giving you a strategic advantage.
Tip #2 Large Bushes
When camping in large bushes, avoid standing close to the enemy. By sidestepping common checking spots, enemies may assume the bush is clear.
Patience is key; wait until the enemy reveals their position before closing in.
Tip #3 Don’t Reveal Your Positioning
Even if the enemy checks the bush with their skill, don’t reveal your position if their skill only damages you. Unless enemy team have someone like Kagura who reveals bushes with her skills.
Make sure that you maintain the element of unpredictability, keeping foes guessing about your camping presence.
Tip #4 Camping During Late Game
During the late game, always be patient when camping. Choose strategic locations near objectives or minion waves, allowing you to wait for the perfect moment to strike.
Tip #5 Camping to Counter Rotations
Also, you have the option to camp deeper within enemy territory to disrupt their rotation. By choosing unexpected locations, you can catch enemies off guard as they traverse the map.
Tip #6 Using Ally as Bait
You can also camp near your ally and use them as bait. Enemies often forget about bushes when an ally appears alone, providing an opportunity to engage them.
Use the second tip I’ve provided if enemies start to get a better feel and suspect your presence.
Tip #7 Camping Through Invade/s
In the early game, camp at enemy buffs before the enemy jungler arrives. This not only disrupts the enemy jungler’s routine/rotation but also provides valuable vision for your team.
If the enemy jungler is starting in the orange buff, you can, as an invading hero, camp at the enemy purple buff – you can figure this out by checking whether the gold lane is on top or the bottom lane.
Gold lane on the bottom lane usually means enemy jungler will start at the orange buff first, then farm towards bottom lane in order to gank your gold laner.
While Gold lane on the top lane typically means enemy jungler will start at the purple buff first, and you should camp at the orange buff before the enemy jungler shows up.
Tip #8 Smarter Use of Bushes
Camp in the second bush as they’re likely to pass rather than the first. Make sure you stay a step ahead by focusing on their backline, allowing you to choose your targets wisely.
Tip #9 Map & Respawn Timer Awareness
You must also predict enemy movements by using the map and respawn times. Camp strategically by thinking ahead and considering enemy positions based on their respawn times.
Tip #10 Best Heroes for Camping
Lastly, certain heroes excel at camping and disrupting enemy rotations, including Tigreal, Khufra, Grock, Franco, and others with strong crowd control.
Support heroes like Mathilda, Angela, and Floryn are better off rotating.
