MultiVersus is finally out! After a long wait, fans can finally play this awesome brawler and for completely free. It is available Steam and on consoles such as PS4 & PS5 and Xbox One & Series X | S.

MultiVersus has a pretty decent character roster which includes Warner Bros iconic characters such Tom And Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Taz and many more. The game also has the Joker which is a pretty awesome character. This guide will show you his Combos so you can pummel your opponents into the ground.

Complete Joker Combo Guide

One thing before we get started on Joker’s Combos, we have a complete tier list of characters which are separately ranked on the basis of their performance in 1v1 and 2v2. If interested, you can find it here: MultiVersus: Best Character Tier List. Now, to get back to the topic at hand. First, let’s get familiar with Joker’s skills and moves.

Joker’s Moveset

Joker in combat

Joker has a pretty decent moveset with good ground and air attacks. They are as follow:

Normal Attacks

On the Ground:

  • Neutral Attack – Dirty Dealer!
    • Joker throws out a card as a projectile. Depending on the card type, three situations are possible.
    • If Heart, the card will pass through the opponent and then return to hit them. If Diamond, the card will stick to the opponent and explode. And if Spade, multiple cards will be thrown instead of one.
  • Side Attack – Everything But The Kitchen Sink!
    • Joker will swing various types of objects to hit your opponent.
  • Up Attack – Crowbarred!
    • In this attack, Joker will jump upwards swinging a crowbar.
    • This attack is chargeable.
  • Down Attack – Brushed And Ready!
    • Joker attacks with chatter teeth towards the bottom.
    • This attack is chargeable. If you do not use your attack after charging, it will be saved for later use.
  • Dash Attack – Joker, Baby!
    • Joker slides forward on the ground while striking a pose.

In the Air:

  • Neutral Attack – Dirty Dealer!
    • Same as the ground version of this attack.
  • Side Attack – Lemme At ‘Em!
    • Joker punches forward with a spring loaded boxing glove.
    • This attack is chargeable.
  • Up Attack – Flying Crowbar!
    • Similar to its ground version but this is not chargeable.
  • Down Attack – Oh No Pogo!
    • Joker jumps on a pogo stick and uses it to strike downwards.
    • This attack is chargeable.

Special Attacks

On the Ground:

  • Neutral Attack – Let’s Shake On It!
    • Joker offers an electric handshake that gives armor.
    • If it touches the opponent or if the opponent tries to hit Joker while he is holding out his hand, they will get shocked and will be knocked back.
  • Side Attack – Blastoff!
    • Joker pulls out a rocket launcher and fires a projectile.
    • This attack is chargeable.
  • Up Attack – Balloonatic!
    • Joker launches upward and hits opponent with a balloon.
  • Down Attack -What’s Behind The Curtain?
    • Joker pulls out a curtain to reveal a cannon which will shoot forward or a Jack-in-the-box which will spring upward.

In the Air:

  • Neutral Attack – Take A Whiff!
    • In this attack, the Joker fires acid from a flower.
    • This attack is chargeable. If you do not use your attack after charging, it will be saved for later use.
  • Side Attack – Puttin’ On A Blitz!
    • Joker dashes forward while twirling a cane.
  • Up Attack – Balloonatic!
    • Same as the ground version of this attack.
  • Down Attack – Fire In The Hole!
    • Joker throws a grenade down which launches him slightly upward.

Now that you are thoroughly familiar with how Joker’s attacks work, we can move onto his combos. To make it easier, I will provide combos for controls of all three platforms (PC, Xbox and PlayStation). However, do keep in mind that these are default keybinds.

Joker’s Combos (Keyboard)

J: Normal Attack

K: Special Attack

Space: Jump

Combo #1:

  • Space + (air W + J) + (ground W + J) + Space + (air W + J) + (air W + K)

Combo #2:

  • Space + (air S + J) + (air W + J) + (ground W + J) + (air W + K) + (air W + J)

Combo #3:

  • Space + (air S + J) + (air S + K) + (air W + J) + Space + (air W + K) + (air W + J)

Combo #4:

  • J + (ground D + J) + (ground D + J) + (ground D + J)

Combo #5:

  • Space + (air S + J) + (air S + K) + (air W + J)

Combo #6:

  • (ground D + J) + (ground S + J) + (ground W + J) + Space + (air W + J) + Space + (air W + K)

Combo #7:

  • Space + (air S + J) + (air D + J) + (ground W + J) + Space + (air W + K) + Space + (air W + J) + (air D + J)
