The funny pair Tom and Jerry in MultiVersus can be very fun to combo and outplay your opponents. We’ll talk about the perks, combos, and how to move with Tom and Jerry in the game. We’re also going to discuss about the various moves they can do and best benefit of them.
How To Play Tom & Jerry
Like every other character, Tom and Jerry are unique, coming in a pair. To be exact, you move mainly with Tom and Jerry is your, mind our word choice, extra weapon.
Keep Jerry with You
This is the main issue with Tom and Jerry fails. Alone, Tom can still deal damage and does his own moves, but having Jerry by his side is very important. Whatever you do, make sure that you know how to get your Jerry back and not accidentally throw them out.
Jerry Slingshot
Tom can use Slingshot Sharpshooter with or without Jerry. It’s obviously a lot better with Jerry as it is very easy to aim, shoots very far, with little lag. Alternatively, you can shoot tennis balls without Jerry, but they deal no damage unless you fling them with your rackets.
This move is good to use from a distance and can be virtually used in any situation. Whether you’re jumping, on the ground, or even in close range.
Dynamite Split Perk
Tom’s dynamite perk is a must to make full use of his dynamite skill. When you slam your Dynamite, it splits into 3 which makes it hard to avoid.
Goin’ Fishin for Upward Knockout
Fishing your enemy upward will be your most used knockout move. This flings them very high upward when hit. It’s a powerful move, especially good when you want to confirm that kill when you’re both on air.
One-Two Neutral Attack Combos
Like most characters, you can do two Neutral Attacks as your combo startup. They’re easy to land and easy to chain into something else, like Feline Pounce or his down attack. This is a guard-breaking move that means guaranteed hit.
It’s great to build up the percentage as high as possible before you start using your knockout moves. Like the fishing rod move or the rocket move which can be a little hard to hit.
These are as far as the tips can go. It’s mostly about getting used to flinging Jerry, getting him back, using slingshots, and surviving! We’ve got another guide here for how you can combo with Black Adam.
