Engage yourself in fast-paced team-based battles across diverse stages in MultiVersus. The characters are a part of different universes from WB. The game allows players to team up with friends, other online participants in 2v2 matches and play solo. The game uses Fighter currency as a method to buy some of your favorite characters. Let’s see how to get our hands on some FC and fast.

How To Unlock Fighter Currency Fast

If you’re familiar with the game, you naturally know what fighter currency is. Fighter Currency is the currency that lets you purchase characters. Here are 5 ways you can acquire some Fighter currency to unlock all the cool MultiVersus Characters.

Battle Passes

If you see in the image below, at Tier 9, you’ll get fighter currency for free.

At Tier 15, however, you don’t get it for free and you’ll have to buy the pass. Then, so on so forth. The next one at Tier 31 you get 600 FC which isn’t bad but the next one after that is again not free. So that’s the gist of how to get Fighter Currency from the Battle Passes.

Completing Missions

The next method to get Fighter Currency quicker is by completing missions. Some missions like the first one shown in the image below will give you fighter currency as rewards for completing tasks like logging in for three days.

Daily Missions in MultiVersus

Another example is for playing a PVP match with a friend, you get 300. It’s different and updates for everyone so ensure to regularly check daily and weekly missions.

You can also obtain some Fighter Currency for challenges or events that are out. For instance, the Joker’s Ruse where you obtain 700 FC for completing a challenge. Other events will also get you some fighter currency.

Completing Character Levels.

The above methods got you small amounts of fighter currency here and there. One of the best ways to get a ton of this currency is through completing character levels. This method will allow you to get around 15,000 and up Fighter currency depending on the time frame.

This method is also one of the consistent ways you can rely on to get currency instead of relying on events or missions with Fighter currency as rewards to show up when you need it the most.

Let’s see what you need to do. For instance, if you level up banana guard up to level 5, you can get 100 Fighter Currency. It may not be a lot, but you get 200 on Level 10, 300 on level 14, which adds up to 600 already.

To level up characters fast, you need to play them. If you want to be an expert at Banana Guard, we have a guide on How To Play Banana Guard (Tips, Strategies, Perks & Combos). That will help you maximize your gameplay and eventually help you earn those fighter currencies!

Now, let’s at another pro tip on how to level up your characters fast. Unlocking the first level is easy and all you have to do is play as the characters themselves. For the next levels, the trick is to play games against AI in the rifts.

Game in MultiVersus

Play the easiest mode and play the first ones of either the joker challenges or the Velma ones and just keep fighting the boss over and over.  The best thing about doing this method is that it doesn’t specify the amount of damage required for level progression.

All you need to do is play games. If you don’t want to play against players, you don’t have to, and you also won’t be getting less XP for it. You also won’t be getting less XP if you end up performing badly so that’s a win-win. This way you should level up between 4-5 games and eventually acquire that Fighter Currency!

In the meantime, if you’d like a change of scenery, you can do some other challenges. Head over to this guide if you want to learn the Fastest Way to Progress “Play as Certain Character” Challenges!

Note: If you plan to max out your characters, you’ll also end up with Gleamium at the end. So if you multiply the characters with the Gleamium you receive for maxing out your character, you should get 3,900 Gamium. That is enough to unlock a lot of character skins.

Buying Fighter Currency

Next method is to buy fighter currency through in-game purchase.

Entering Rifts

Entering rifts is a good option for a solo challenge. The game will have you battle against computer-controlled AI characters who will drop some FC when defeated. Advancing through the single-player matches can increase your earnings.

PvP Matches

Participating in PvP matches, even with friends, can get you Fighter Currency. And these are all the ways you can get your hands on some fighter currency so start working on it so you can accumulate enough!

It’s important to remind players to also enjoy the game and not to fixate on acquiring all the characters. The game rotates and you will eventually get to a point where you can unlock a character you couldn’t play before, so patience is the key.
