Who Killed Sonic? | The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog
Just like when Rockstar released Table Tennis, people were just as confused yet slightly amused when their favorite blue rodent suddenly gets axed for Sega’s twisted April Fools release.
The game is still pretty good and short enough to keep your attention from deteriorating elsewhere, if murder mysteries are your thing then go check out the game for yourself.
If you don’t like spoilers then keep on reading because you probably still will anyway!
Playing this game reminds me of two things: (1) Visual novels and (2) the fact that I need to go outside every once in a while if that’s the first thing I see every time somebody uses the words “point and click adventure.”
Once you pick up more clues inside the train you’ll eventually come to the conclusion that it’s Espio that’s responsible for the crime, there should be a Jazz stinger here of some sort but the game saves that for when Sonic actually comes to.
Sonic explains that Espio was under the influence of the train itself and was a badnik built by Doctor Eggman himself.
Who would’ve seen that one coming?
After this reveal you’re given control of Sonic again to save the day and reach the conductor’s car before you arrive at Eggman’s base.
Try the game out for yourself and see the evidence that further paves Espio as the murderer!
