Farming XP in MMOs or multiplayer games can be soul-crushing and monotonous when you’re not doing it right. You might spend hours upon hours just farming in an area that is inefficient without the game telling you it is. That’s why you should know in advance what the best XP farms are!

In Once Human, you’ll usually get XP through doing quests, fighting enemies, and exploring the map. That’s good and all but what if you had a source of EXP being generated passively while you play? Not only that, but you can also get currency out of it too!

In this guide, we’ll show you what the best passive EXP farm is in the game. We’ll go through what you’ll need to build and craft as well as some options to make things a bit faster. Now, let’s see what we’ll need to do to get that sweet EXP!

Best Passive EXP Farm (Level Up Fast)

In Once Human, you’ll want to get as much EXP as possible not only to level up but also to progress the Battlepass. The latter will give you all sorts of rewards, so it’s good to have a steady source of EXP. That’s why while you’re running around doing activities, you should have a passive EXP farm as well!

Here are the steps that we’ll be taking to get passive EXP in Once Human:

1. Progress your base until you can make Electric Stoves.
2. Build multiple Electric Stoves and keep them powered.
3. Collect Seawater from the Ocean.
4. Craft Salt on all the Electric Stoves until they’re all fully queued.
5. Do other activities while waiting for the crafting to finish.
6. Go back to your base and collect the Salt for EXP!
7. (Optional) Sell the salt to vendors.

Detailed Walkthrough

To do this passive EXP farm, you’ll need a couple of things first. The first part is to have a base that has electricity as well as having the ability to build Electric Stoves. This farming method is possible with non-electric stoves, but you’ll need to farm for fuel as well.

Once you can make Electric Stoves, you’ll then need to go to an ocean and collect as much Seawater as you can. Make sure to fill up your backpack, so that you don’t have to do multiple trips.

After collecting a bunch of Seawater, you’ll then need to go back to your base and then interact with the Electric Stove. You’ll want to craft as much Salt as you can since it only requires Seawater to craft them.

This is why you’ll want to have multiple stoves in your base, so that you can queue up even more Salt crafting. Once you’ve filled up the queue, all you need to do now is wait!

Crafting 99 Salt will give you 10 Battlepass XP as well as around 100 normal XP. The great thing about this method is that you can do other stuff while you wait for the queue to finish.

If you want to make the crafting time shorter, you can also get Chefosaurus Rex with the “There’s A Dragon Here” quest. This will cut down on the crafting time with that character around your base.

Not only can you get XP from crafting salt, but you can also sell the salt for Energy Links on any trader. Each salt will give you 1 Energy Link, so you have a passive income as well in the game!
