Targeted Stats
Before we get into the build, we’ll be looking at what Stats we need to target for the Power Surge Build. The main Stats that we need to focus on are Psi Intensity, Crit Rate, Element DMG and Status DMG.
The reason for targeting Psi Intensity in Once Human is because we’ll be using a specific mod that will allow us to get a lot of damage due to Power Surge. This damage scales off our Psi Intensity. We’ll look at that Mod later on in the guide.
So, you want it to be as high as possible. At the same time, the other stats are also important as they are directly related to the Power Surge effect.
Gear
Starting off, we’ll be looking at the Gear that you’ll need for the Power Surge Build in the Endgame of Once Human.
The Gear that we’ll be using for the Power Surge Endgame Build in Once Human are:
- Heavy Duty Mask (or Scout Mask)
- Shelterer Pants
- Shelterer Boots
- Shelterer Top
- Mayfly Goggles
- Heavy Duty Gloves.
These Gear pieces will allow you to get as high a Shock Damage and Psi Intensity as possible.
Be sure to calibrate all of this Gear as high as you can. This is because it will further boost the Psi Intensity and other Stats. In this way, you’ll be able to target those big numbers.
Weapons
Now, we’ll be looking at the Weapons that we’ll be using for the Power Surge Build in Once Human. Since it’s the endgame of Once Human, you want to get the best you can get.
So, for the main weapon we’ll be using the SOCR – Outsider assault rifle. This is a weapon that you will likely have at the endgame as you get it by playing the game. We believe this is at the point when you get your first Wish machine.
The main feature of this weapon is that you can trigger Power Surge 35% of the time. Additionally, Crit Hits increase the chance of triggering Power Surge by +30%.
So, our goal is to get the Crit Rate high enough so that we can trigger Crit Hits all the time. This will help maximize our DPS for the Power Surge Build.
Be sure to calibrate this weapon to the highest Tier. You should also try to get the best Calibration Attributes based on the stats we have discussed. You can do this by replacing the Attributes using Calibration Blueprints.
For the Secondary Weapon, you want to use the Recurve Crossbow. This is because of the feature that enables all your weapons to get an increased Crit Rate of 30%.
So, you can use it in tandem with all your other Weapons to further maximize your Power Surge build in Once Human. This is especially useful for bosses.
Finally, we have the Stun Baton that you can use as a complementary Melee weapon. You can stack further Power Surge onto an enemy if you wish.
Mods
You’ll need to use some crucial mods if you want to get the high DPS you want for the Power Surge Endgame Build.
Starting off, we have the Mod for our main weapon, the SOCR – Outsider. We’ll be using the Static Shock mod for this weapon.
The Static Shock mod does reduce the duration of Power Surge duration by 50% but increases the damage by 20%. By using attributes that further increase the damage, you’ll overall have higher DPS with this mod.
For the Recurve Bow, you want to use the Flame Resonance Mod. It gives you 12% increased Status DMG which means you can do more damage with Power Surge.
Similarly, for the Stun Baton, you can use the Shock Rampage Mod. It gives you a +5% chance to trigger Power Surge when you do Power Surge DMG. This effect can stack up to 4 times.
Finally, we’ll be looking at the Mods that you want to put on your Gear for the Power Surge Build in Once Human:
- Deviation Expert (Helmet)
- Range -25%, Fire Rate +10%, Status DMG +20%
- The increased Damage more than makes up for the reduced Range.
- Thunderclap (Mask)
- After triggering Power Surge 20 times, the next hit summons Celestial Thunder
- Celestial Thunder deals Shock Damage of 200% Psi Intensity
- This is why increasing Psi Intensity is important in this build.
- Flame Resonance (Gloves)
- Increase Status DMG of 20%
- Covered Advance (Shoes)
- Taking no DMG within 4s grants +20 Melee, Weapon and Status DMG for 30 seconds.
- Healing Fortification (Top)
- When using a Healing Shot, DMG Reduction is 40% for 2s
- abnormal increase (Pants)
- When the magazine is empty, Status DMG +8% for 12s
- It can stack up to 3 times.
Having all these Mods together will allow you to deal an insane amount of DPS with this Power Surge Build!
Final Stats
When you have gotten everything for the Power Surge Build, you’ll want your Stats to look something like what we’ve shown below.
You do not need these exact numbers but anything around these is perfect. You can even potentially make these Stats even better.
At the same time, you want your Power Surge stats to be quite high as well. Below is an image which shows how the Stats should look like for those as well.
Be sure to take out your weapon as this will impact the stats for your Power Surge Build.
That’s everything you need to know for the Best Power Surge Build Guide for the Once Human Endgame. With these stats, you should be able to delete pretty much any boss in the game. You could even experiment around with this build for potentially even better Stats!
