As you progress through Once Human and get towards the end game, enemies will start to feel really tanky. So, you’ll need powerful builds that can allow you to deplete their health. One such build that we have for you is for the Sniper.

If you’re a Sniper, you’ll absolutely want to check out the build that we’ll be showing you in this guide. We’ll also show you the relevant Mods, how you can get them and any alternatives you can use. Without further delay, let’s dive in!

Best Sniper Build Guide

There are plenty of different builds that you can utilize in Once Human for snipers. So, we encourage you to experiment for yourself.

In this guide, we’ll be referring to a build that takes advantage of Weak Spot Damage, Crit Chance and Bull’s Eye. It also depends a lot on Mods so that the entire Sniper Build can flourish.

Feel free to use the Table of Contents if you’re only interested in a specific aspect of the Sniper Build.

Starting off, we’ll be looking at the exact Sniper Rifle you’ll want to use for the Best Sniper Build. You’ll want to use the AWS.338 – Bingo.

This Sniper Rifle is hard hitting and also allows you to shoot quite quickly. However, it is the Bull’s Eye debuff that makes it shine.

Bull’s Eye allows you to do a vast amount of damage provided that you are accurate and consistent with your shots. So, it perfectly suits the Sniper which relies on accurate shooting.

As you can see, this effect revolves a lot around Weak Spot Damage and can actually increase it by default. You can also reliably get this effect by hitting the Weak Spot or switching out the weapon for a guaranteed hit.

Additionally, this effect also can stack up to 3 times. So, you are potentially getting up to a whopping 45% Weak Spot Damage for 10 seconds!

You can obtain the AWS.338 – Bingo sniper by rolling for it at the Mr Wish Machine. This will depend on your luck, so you’ll likely have to spin a lot.

I believe you can also get this Sniper for 8000 Starchrom from the Mr Wish Machine store. However, I cannot confirm this as of this moment.

Alternatively, you can also use another powerful sniper rifle until you get the Bingo. This is the AWS.338 Black Panther Sniper.

You can find the blueprint for this sniper at a specific location near the Tall Grass Inn in Chalk Peak. This is the Rift Anchor Furnace Lair location. The location is shown on the map below.

Now that we know what Weapon we’ll be using for the Best Sniper Build, it’s time to use Mods to enhance its effects and make it stronger.

We’ll primarily be focusing on mods that increase or revolve around Weak Spot Damage, Crit Damage and Bull’s Eye. After that, Weapon Damage and Elite Damage are secondary considerations.

However, before we get into the Mod Choices, there is an essential piece of gear that you’ll want to get for the Best Sniper Build. This is the Old Huntsman’s Boots.

This essential Gear item provides the following effects in Once Human:

  • After Bull’s Eye triggers, the next bullet will count as Weak Spot Hits regardless of where they hit
  • Weak Spot damage is increased by +30%

Additionally, the Mod Choice for these Boots will be Covered Advance. This Mod takes this build to the next level as your damage is increased by a huge amount if you do not take damage.

As you are a Sniper, you’ll already be staying away from enemies at a safe distance. So, the chances of you taking damage will be very less, practically making this effect guaranteed.

You should be able to get Covered Advance from Silo Sigma from Lieutenant Dave in Once Human.

Besides these Boots, you’ll also want to get some really crucial Mods. Here are the Mods we recommend you use for the Best Sniper Build in Once Human:

  • Reload Rampage (Bottoms)
    • Refill 2 Bullets from the Reserves automatically
    • Weapon and Status DMG increased by 10% until next reload
    • As you’re already killing enemies due to powerful damage, you’ll be able to continuously spam fire without reloading
    • Location Found: Silo Alpha and Silo Psi
  • Targeted Strike (Mask)
    • Crit Rate +10% and Crit DMG +25% when hitting marked enemies
    • Location Found: Silo EX1
  • Precision Strike (Helmet)
    • Hitting a Weak Spot grants Weak Spot DMG +12% for 3 Seconds

You can get all of these Mods by farming the different Silos available in Once Human. We’ve shown you the locations for where we were able to find the specific mods.

It’s likely you can get these Mods in other locations too.

All these Mods basically compound and boost each other, particularly for the Weak Spot Damage. In total, you can get up to a total of a whopping 300% Weak Spot Damage if you add up all the numbers from these Mods!

Weapon Calibration

Another way to help boost the effects of Crit Rate and Weak Spot Damage is to replace the Calibration Attributes. This will allow you to obtain an even stronger Sniper Build in Once Human.

Your focus should be on getting a Rapid Fire Sniper Attribute. On top of that, you want to get stats that boost your Crit Rate and Weak Spot. Ideally, you want to lean towards Crit Rate.

You can acquire these calibration stats by disassembling legendary and rare sniper rifles.

As a Sniper, you’ll also want to dedicate certain Mods to help increase your survivability in Once Human. You can actually even set up an infinite health leech that will allow you to take health from the enemies you kill.

Here are the health Mods we recommend you use for the Best Sniper Build:

  • Recover Mark (All Weapons)
    • Recover 15% HP and 25% Stamina when defeating marked enemies
  • Enduring Shield (Top)
    • Gain stacks of Safe Haven when out of combat
    • Effect can stack up to 5 times
    • When you receive 5 damage, 1 stack is removed and an 8% Shield is activated for 3s.

With this combination of Mods, you’ll be able to not only tank damage but also replenish your health in no time!

Finally, you’ll also want to have a powerful secondary weapon for your Best Sniper Build. After all, the Sniper will not always be effective against certain enemies.

For example, you’ll want to use rapid fire weapons for certain bosses or big mobs of enemies.

So, we recommend that you get the SOCR – The Last Valor Assault Rifle. It’s a great weapon to unload on enemies when you are too overwhelmed to use the Sniper Rifle.

You can also go for another rifle, LMG or SMG. In the end, it’s a matter of taste since it’s your Best Sniper Build after all!
