In Once Human, a specific server can have different worlds built into it. This can become an issue if you’re trying to play with a friend on a server. You will not be able to join up with your friend on the same server if you are in different worlds.
As a result, you’ll need to change worlds so that you can play with them. The process is much simpler than you think. In this guide, we’ll quickly go over how you can change worlds in Once Human. Let’s get into it!
How To Change Worlds
Unfortunately, Once Human will not allow you to join up with your friend even if you are on the same server but in a different world. In this case, you will need to unlock the option to change worlds.
Here are the steps you’ll need to follow to change worlds in Once Human:
- Unlock Teleportation Towers by advancing the story
- Interact with the Teleportation Tower using the F key
- Select the world you want to go to using the list
- Use the map menu to check which world you are in.
Advance The Story (Unlock Teleportation Tower)
Starting off, to change worlds you’ll need to unlock Teleportation Towers. To do this, you’ll need to advance through the Once Human story.
Luckily, you won’t have to play for long to get it. Eventually, you’ll be told to find a Teleportation Tower in Deadsville in the main story. This is right after you’ve created your first gun as part of a mission.
After you find the Teleportation Tower, you’ll be able to freely interact with it.
Interact With Teleportation Tower
Now that you have the Teleportation Tower in Once Human, all you need to do is interact with it. When you interact with it, a small list will open up.
You’ll be able to see all the worlds you can teleport to in the server. Just select whichever world you want to teleport to and you’re set!
Check World (Joining Friends)
Lastly, we’ll quickly touch on how you can check which world you are in. This will help you and your friends teleport to the same world within the same server in Once Human.
All you need to do is go to the map menu. You’ll be able to see which world you are in by checking the top right corner of the map.
So, all you need to do is select a world in the Teleportation Tower. Once you’ve joined the same server, you’ll be able to play with each other!
