Once Human places a great emphasis on survival through its various crafting and gathering mechanics. You’ll need to gather materials that you can convert into useful items that will help you survive the harsh world. This includes farming beets that you can turn into sugar.
But where exactly can you find Beets in Once Human? We’ll show you the best locations where you can farm them. Additionally, we’ll show you how you can convert them into sugar, which can be very useful. Let’s get into it!
How To Get Beet Farming Locations
Beets are incredibly useful vegetables in Once Human. This is because you can convert them into sugar, which you can use to convert into Sanity Gummies. Sanity Gummies help remove the debuff that leads to you losing health gradually.
Like most natural resources, you can find beets in various locations. However, we’ll be showing you the 3 best locations, where you’ll be able to find about 20 beets each.
Natural resources spawn very quickly, so you should be able to grind these locations and repeat the farming process. At the end, we’ll also show you exactly how you can use beets to make sugar and Sanity Gummies.
Location #1 – Meyer’s Market
The first location for the best Beet farming in Once Human is Meyer’s Market. When you arrive here, you’ll notice that there are some farms people have built behind fences near the shops.
You can jump over the fence and grab all the beets here. Don’t worry, no one will mind.
After that, make your way to the edge of the nearby water. You should be able to find some beets here as well. Be sure to look near the buildings here as well.
Once you’ve gotten the beets here, you’ll be heading to the other side of Meyer’s Market. The location you want to head to is shown on the map below, with the leaf icon.
Here, you’ll be able to find a lot of different gatherable plants near the water and on the small islands here. You should find a lot of beets here as well, although they might be hidden among the other plants. In total, you should be able to get around 20 beets here.
Location #2 – Brookham
Next, you’ll be heading to Brookham to farm Beets. On the Once Human map, you should be able to see a leaf icon that says ‘Beet and Corn’ on the map near Brookham.
Head to this location.
Once you’re here, you’ll find beets scattered all around the area. Be sure to go around the whole area in all directions of the leaf icon.
This includes looking near the fences, behind the houses and all the open green areas you see. In total, you should be able to gather 20 beets here too.
Location #3 – Riverside Souvenirs (near Greywater Camp)
The final location for our Beet farming journey is Riverside Souvenirs. You can find it near the Greywater Camp in Once Human. The exact location is shown on the map below.
When you’re here, you should see a large red warehouse with Vultures signs on them. Enter inside this warehouse.
Look on the nearby shelves and you should see crates that are full of Beets and other vegetables. Make sure to loot all of these crates.
Be sure to loot the crates that are on the top floor of the warehouse. You can get there by jumping and climbing up. There are also a few crates outside the warehouse and the nearby vicinity. Make sure you get these too.
In total, you should be able to get around 20 beets here too.
How To Use Beets
Finally, we’ll look at how you can use these Beets in Once Human. As mentioned before, you can convert them into Sugar. You can then use the sugar to make Sanity Gummies, which will help remove the Health Depletion Debuff.
After you’ve collected the Beets, interact with a Kitchen Set at your base. Here, you should find the Sugar recipe which just requires beets.
After you’ve converted the beets into sugar, you can use the latter to make Sanity Gummies. This recipe is available on the Kitchen Set as well. To make Sanity Gummies, you need the following items:
- x1 Boiled Water
- x1 Sugar
