Cruel Ship Location & Showcase
In order to get the Cruel Ship, you’ll have to defeat the Blackbeard Boss, and there will be a small chance you get it as a loot. For more details, read further into the guide!
To find the Blackbeard Boss, you’ll have to Sea 3. Now for that, we have guide on How to Get to The Third Sea, so make sure to check it out.
After arriving at Sea 3, you’ll have to the Marine Base. You can find Blackbeard in the island’s pillar-like structure as shown in the image below.
Blackbeard spawns every 10 minutes and there’s a drop rate of around 5% of getting the Cruel Ship, though it’s not officially confirmed.
Now that you know to get the Cruel Ship, you’re probably wondering if it’s worth the grind. Let’s take a closer look!
With no upgrades, the ship can hit a respectable 245 speed. But there’s an interesting twist – if you happen to possess a Dark Fruit, you can give this ship a significant speed boost.
In fact, with the ship fully upgraded and a Dark Fruit buff, it’s clocks at 463 speed. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come to par with the Striker Ship and Flame Fruit combo, which goes up to 500 speed.
But who knows, maybe the Dark Fruit will get an awakening that’ll make this ship a top choice.
