Mission Requirements

You’ll come across the mention of the Apostle when you talk to Juliette just before the Hot Potato Mission. In some cases, General Levy will mention the Apostle during the early stages of the game as well.

However, Juliette will give you the full rundown on the Apostle. In essence, Apostles are enemies that only spawn when you are recovering high value resources. They are difficult enemies that you can basically consider a boss.

You can use this information to actually lure the Apostle. We’ll look at exactly how you can do that later in this guide.

She will also recommend that you bring a 30mm Light Gun to the Outpost before the mission. So, we also suggest you do this after you’re done talking to her.

Once the dialogue is over, you’ll be given the Hot Potato Main Mission. Your goal with this mission will be to lure the Apostle and defeat it.

To do this, you will need to first head to the Border Woodland area on your console.

After that, select Difficulty 3. It is essential you select this difficulty. Otherwise, the Apostle will not spawn. Next, we’ll look at how you can lure the Apostle during the Hot Potato Main Mission.

You’ll know you’ve got the right Mission Requirements if you look at the Risks section on the right side of the menu. The Apostle will be the last enemy shown there, as shown below, with a small description.

Lure the Apostle

When you’re in the Border Woodland, you can start looting resources and moving them to the Recovery Box. Your main goal is to get stuff that provides you with the best value. You can check the value that you are getting from stuff by looking at the number in the bottom left corner of the Recovery Menu.

From what most players have seen, you will need to get at least 1k+ value. Once you start the Recovery of this value of items, the boss will spawn.

Once the Recovery starts, you will need to protect the Core Tower for Recovery. You’ll know that you’ve successfully spawned the boss and lured the Apostle by looking at the difficulty meter.

This is in the top right corner of your screen. If you go over this triangle, then you’ll know that the boss has been triggered. Now all you need to do is defeat the Apostle and you can beat the mission!
