Palworld has just released yet another update that has a whole lot of new content and other quality of life fixes in it. In this guide, we will be going over all of the new weapons that were added with Feybreak as well as a quick summary of what each of them can do or how to get them.

All the New Weapons Added in the Update

Before we get started, it is important to note that the new weapons are not just for high level players. The developers have also added some new gear at lower level tiers so that there is more diversity across the board. With all of that in mind, here is a list of them:

Palworld player using a makeshift SMG
  • Makeshift SMG (Level 26) – This scrappy little gun is relatively weak as it only uses coarse ammo, but it has a high rate of fire and is a great choice for some low level action. A clear upgrade over the makeshift handgun.
    • Requires 40x Ingots, 30x Fiber, and 10x High Quality Pal Oil
  • Katana (Level 29) – It is a katana, plain and simple. It has a lunging slash attack that has a relatively long range.
    • Requires 30x Ingots, 20x Wood, and 20x Stone
  • Meowmere (Level 30) – This weapon is a taste of what will eventually be a larger collaboration with Terraria. It is a sword that fires cat heads, making it a ranged “melee” weapon of sorts.
    • Requires 22x Ingots, 22x Paldium Fragments, 22x Coal, and 3x Predator Cores
  • Makeshift Shotgun (Level 30) – Another low tier gun, this is essentially just a shotgun that uses coarse ammo. Great early game option if you prefer to be up close and personal to your enemies, though it only fires once per reload.
    • Requires 60x Ingots, 50x Fiber, and 15x High Quality Pal Oil
  • Makeshift Assault Rifle (Level 31) – Suspiciously looks like an AK-47, it is another weapon that will eat into your coarse ammo supply. Somewhat better than the Makeshift SMG depending on the range.
    • Requires 70x Ingots, 60x Fiber, and 20x High Quality Pal Oil
  • Compound Bow (Level 32) – A powerful bow that uses reinforced arrows.
    • Requires 50x Ingots, 40x Fiber, and 20x Nails
  • Old Revolver (Level 33) – This weapon uses regular handgun ammo and, as expected, it can pack a mean punch.
    • Requires 60x Ingots and 20x High Quality Pal Oil
  • SMG (Level 37) – An upgrade from the makeshift version, this weapon takes regular handgun ammo and also has a high rate of fire.
    • Requires 25x Refined Ingots and 6x Polymer
  • Semi-Auto Rifle (Level 41) – It is essentially an M1 Garand and it can deal a ton of damage, especially if you tap fire quickly. It uses rifle ammo.
    • Requires 35x Refined Ingots and 10x Polymer
  • Semi-Auto Shotgun (Level 47) – This weapon will obliterate anything in short ranges, and it can be fired rapidly multiple times before you have to reload it.
    • Requires 50x Refined Ingots, 40x Carbon Fiber, and 20x Polymer
  • Beam Sword (Level 57) – Functions similarly to the regular katana, but it has a much higher damage output.
    • Requires 100x Paldium Fragments, 30x Hexolite, 20x Nightstar Sand, and 5x Ancient Civilization Parts.
  • Advanced Bow (Level 57) – This weapon uses advanced arrows and has a very high damage output.
    • Requires 100x Carbon Fiber, 40x Hexolite, and 20x Nightstar Sand
  • Laser Gatling Gun (level 58) – This requires Laser Gatling Cartridges and it can fire a lot of powerful laser beams at a very high rate after the initial wind up. Relatively expensive to use, but really strong.
    • Requires 200x Carbon Fiber, 150x Plasteel, and 100x Hexolite.
  • Plasma Cannon (Level 60) – Fires explosive bursts of energy and has a really high damage output.
    • Requires 200x Plasteel, 200x Carbon Fiber, 130x Hexolite, and 100x Circuit Boards

Although not technically “weapons”, there are also new tools such as the Pal Metal Axe & Pickaxe, the Metal Detector for finding some of the new resources, and a whole plethora of grenades with special effects.

There is also new Hexolite armor that you can unlock near the tail end of the 50s, and this will require a lot of the new metal that you will be farming for in the Feybreak region. That is pretty much all you need to know with regards to the new weapons, so get out there and start experimenting with them!
