The new Feybreak island in Palworld comes with its own endgame Level 60 Oil Rig.
Similar to the previous Oil Rigs in the game, you can raid this Level 60 Oil Rig to get some incredible loot. Legendary-tier Schematics, loads of rare materials, crates of ammo, and more! However, it’s also incredibly challenging due to the dozens of high-level enemies guarding it. This one even has its own boss fight!
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to find the new Level 60 Oil Rig near Feybreak in Palworld and give you tips to help conquer it.
New Feybreak Oil Rig Level 60 Guide | Palworld: Feybreak
The new Level 60 Rayne Syndicate Oil Rig in Palworld is to the west of Feybreak island. You can use the Feybreak Shipwreck fast travel point as your closest starting point.
Before you head there, though, be warned that the Oil Rig is protected by anti-air turrets and lasers. We recommend having Jetragon as your flying mount at this point. It’s the fastest flying Pal in the game, and it’s also quite resilient due to being a Legendary.
Make sure you also have the best armor possible and pack up some powerful weapons. Recovery Meds can also help in a pinch. If you want to succeed at looting everything, we recommend having the Multi Guided Missile Launcher and a couple hundred missiles as ammunition. Trust us, it doesn’t hurt to be prepared for this one!
To further boost your damage, we recommend bringing a few Gobfin on your team as well. Each one will increase the damage you deal. This mostly helps you make the most of your Multi Guided Missile Launcher when you fight the Attack Chopper boss that protects the Oil Rig.
Your main foes once you reach the Oil Rig will be various Rayne Syndicate goons of every type. There will also be hostile Pals, with the most dangerous being Knocklem and Faleris. Try to group up enemies together so that you can take them out in a single group with your Multi Guided Missile Launcher or any other top-tier weapon.
However, your primary goal is to reach the white platform on the western side of the Oil Rig. Enemies below the platform can’t reach you there and it’s home to the Large Treasure Chest.
Kill the enemies on the platform and interact with the chest to trigger the Attack Chopper boss fight.
Taking Out the Attack Chopper
As soon as you attempt to “hack” the Large Treasure Chest, an Attack Chopper boss will spawn. It’s a Level 59 enemy and it has an absurdly massive health pool of 1,388,999 HP. This is why we were telling you to pack hundreds of missiles and stack the power boost from Gobfins!
The most annoying thing about this boss is that it likes to fly out of reach. Most weapons and Pals can’t even hope to damage it. However, the Multi Guided Missile Launcher fires heat-seeking missiles that will automatically chase the Attack Chopper and hit it. This makes it one of the very few reliable ways to damage the boss.
Thankfully, there’s an easy and almost risk-free way to take down the Attack Chopper. Enter the open storage container office on the southwestern part of the platform as soon as the boss appears. The Attack Chopper can’t hit you while you’re inside.
Then, aim outside of the office and fire your Multi Guided Missile Launcher. The missiles should automatically seek the Attack Chopper, letting you hit it without putting yourself at risk.
That said, you might need to peek out a bit more if the Attack Chopper gets in a bad spot, such as flying right above the office. If that happens, just go out and quickly fire your missiles then return to the office.
We’re not going to lie to you, it can take a while to wreck the Attack Chopper using this method. Nonetheless, it’s by far the safest way, so we recommend it.
Claiming Your Rewards
Once you take down the Attack Chopper, inspect the Large Treasure Chest again to claim your loot. Just keep in mind it takes a while to open the chest. You might get some Legendary-tier Schematics as well as a large amount of Crude Oil and other rare resources like Ancient Civilization Cores and stat Lotuses.
If you wish, you can continue exploring the Rayne Syndicate Oil Rig even after claiming the Large Treasure Chest. There are other smaller Treasure Chests in random places all over the Oil Rig, after all. However, keep in mind that taking down the Attack Chopper does not remove the other hostiles from the rig.
Nonetheless, that’s everything you need to know about the new Level 60 Rayne Syndicate Oil Rig in Palworld: Feybreak. If you need to gather resources to power yourself up before you raid it, it’s a good idea to try using the new Pal Expedition Station. It lets you send Pals on expeditions for loot while you do something else!
