If you’ve been playing Palworld for a while now, you’ve likely already started trying out some of the Raids. These Raids can be really challenging which means you’ll likely need an army of Pals. However, there is a better way that will help you optimize your raids.
This is by using Rescue Pals and Pal Pods that will help revive your pals and get them back into the action. But how exactly can you make this work? We’ll show you exactly that in this guide! Without further delay, let’s get into it!
Pal Pod Rescue Guide
Before we get into the Pal Pod strategy and list of rescue pals, it’s important to keep in mind that there can be a lot of glitches here. At times, Pals will get stuck in their pods while sometimes your Pals will simply not rescue Pals.
In such a case, we recommend that you simply reset your Pals. You can do this by removing and adding them back to your base via the Pal Management Console.
List Of Fastest Rescue Pals
Before we get into the strategy, it’s important to understand how Rescue Pals work. Your goal will be to have the fastest Pals so that you can get your injured Pals rescued and revived as fast as possible.
Many players tend to confuse Sprint Speed or Transport Speed as Rescue Speed. However, it is actually the Pal’s Walk Speed that is your Pal’s Rescue Speed.
So, if you have a Pal who sprints really fast but has a slow walk speed, then you should avoid it. It does sound counterintuitive as you’d want your Pal to run and rescue Pals. But this is just how things work in the game.
With that said, here are the fastest Rescue Pals in the game alongside their speed:
- Jetdragon: 800
- Blazamut: 400
- Blazamut Ryu: 400
- Vanwyrm: 350
- Vanwyrm Cyst: 350
- Necromus: 350
- Cryolinx: 280
- Cryolinx Terra: 280
- Gildane: 270
- Sootseer: 250
- Elizabee: 250
- Beegarde: 250
- Xenovader: 245
- Quivern: 240
- Quivern Botan: 240
- Xenogard: 230
- Bastigor: 225
- Rayhound: 210.
Best Rescue Pals
Now that we’ve seen the fastest Rescue Pals in Palworld, does that mean they’re the best?
Well, during Raids you’ll often come against bosses that will deal Burning effects. So, you’ll want a Rescue Pal that can resist this effect, especially if the Pal Pods catch fire. On top of that, you also want a Rescue Pal that is tanky and can handle the damage the boss deals during fights.
This is where we recommend Blazamut Ryu as the best rescue pal for Raids. Ideally, you can take any max level Blazamut Ryu, give it some defense food and souls and it will be good to go.
This Pal is fast and bulky which will allow it to resist damage. On top of that, it will not take any burn damage. Just make sure to turn off the fighting skill for it, which we’ll do in the strategy next too.
Pal Pod Rescue Strategy (Raids)
Before you engage in a Raid, start by placing down your Pal Pods in your base. Make sure that they are not too close to the center of the fighting, and not too far from the base either.
Also, try to keep them close together but not clustered as shown below. These Pal Pods can heal 10% per second after a Pal gets rescued. So, have a worker Pal build all the Pal Pods for you.
Next, you want to build a Monitoring Stand. Make sure that your Rescue Pals are actually out on the base. In our case, we’ll be using two Blazamut Ryus. You do not need two but we’ll be using the second as a backup in case one of them needs to be rescued or gets upset.
After that, interact with the Monitoring Stand and select the Set Work Preferences option.
Over here, make sure to turn off the combat on the Blazamut Ryus. That way, they’ll only focus on their Rescue duties.
After you’re ready for the Raid, let out all the Pals you want to fight in battle. During the battle, you will notice that when a Pal gets downed, your Blazamut Ryu will be able to rescue them and get them in the Pal Pod immediately.
Since the Pal Pod is quite close to the battle, the Pal will get revived and be able to get into the battle immediately. Your Rescue Pal will also have to deal with a lot of damage, and Blazamat Ryu will be able to handle them comfortably.
Doing so will allow you to breed smaller armies as defeated Pals can be reused in Raid battles. Of course, this does not mean that you rely on only a few Pals, especially considering how many glitches can occur during this strategy.
That’s everything you need to know for the Pal Pod Rescue Guide for Palworld. Now you’ll be able to make the most during Raids. You also know the fastest Rescue Pals, and we encourage you to try them out for different situations!
