In Payday 3, you’ll be tasked to “Mess with the music” while playing through the Rock the Cradle quest. Now, you may be wondering, how do I do that? The game will not tell you, but I will. In this guide, I will show you can reconfigure the speakers in the Rock the Cradle Mission and mess with the music!

How to Reconfigure Speakers in Rock the Cradle Mission Guide
First, from the DJ, you have to make our way upstairs through the one with the “rope”. Simply jump across and pass through the room with the hanging platforms.
Once you’re arrived, keep in mind that there’s no other way to do this except by masking up, so make sure you put on your mask.
Just a little heads up, there will be a lot of cameras in here. You’ll need to position yourself away from them and then make your way across. The “?” indicates the camera/s in the area.
You’ll then reach the room with the speakers you’ll have to reconfigure. There will be 4 speakers in the room, and they’re positioned in the corners. You simply have hold “Activate” in order to reconfigure the speakers.
There will be patterns for the cameras. For instance, some will look in the same direction at the same time.
So, when they start moving to the other side, that will be your go-signal. Also, you can disable the cameras if that makes it easier for you.
After reconfiguring all 4 speakers, they tell you that you have to take out the DJ. But you don’t really have to. So now, you can head down, jump over the rope, and you make your way to the DJ.
Lastly, you just simply have to activate the DJ’s equipment and a funny music will play. You have successfully “Messed with the music”!
