Payday 3 has just released but fans are already knee deep into the various heists, figuring out how to complete the multiple objectives. In the heist No Rest For The Wicked, there is a particular objective that seems to cause quite a few problems for players.
This is the Turn Off Power to the Gate objective, which is actually one of the first ones that you can get during this heist. In this guide, we will show you how you can achieve this objective without having to guess where the panel actually is. Let’s see how you can achieve this.
How To Turn Off Power To Gate
When you start the No Rest For The Wicked heist, there is a point where you will need to turn off the power to the gate.
Usually, this is at the start when the narrator starts speaking. She usually does this when you are near either the Power panel or the Vault.
Check this guide out, which shows you how to get the Vault Code in this heist.
Essentially, the reason for powering off the gate is so that you can access the Vault. The gate leads to the Vault and you cannot access the Vault without it. This makes it one of the most important objectives for this heist.
However, a problem that occurs with this heist is that there are two possible locations for the Power panel to spawn. To make this problem worse, these spawn locations can be both downstairs and upstairs.
Each of these locations requires a different strategy and simply guessing where it is, is not a viable strategy.
Both locations are heavily protected with cameras and guards, and it is very easy for you to get caught. We have a solution that will not require you to guess.
Start by making your way to the gate that leads to the Vault. When you are in front of the gate, look down towards your left at the panel that is about at shin height. Out of this panel, there will be a red wire that will be protruding out and rising up.
Follow the length of this wire and it will lead you to exactly where the Power Panel is. Generally, you can determine pretty quickly whether it is heading upstairs or downstairs.
Also, just because you figured out one location for the panel upstairs, does not mean that it will be in that exact same spot.
The panel for each run of this heist will change not only floor wise, but also in different rooms on the same floor.
The possible downstairs location is a private area worker room that you can find on the back right side of the receptionist area.
You can simply walk up to it and unlock it with a key, or just walk straight in when you are following the red wire.
Also, you can find another downstairs panel behind the receptionist’s desk. Then, you can access this area by moving to the left of the receptionist area.
Unlock the door on the left side of the receptionist area with a lockpick and you’ll see the panel.
Another possible location for the Power Panel is the small side room that can be found next to the Conference Room upstairs. This is the same room that you will be visiting when you are trying to find the Vault Code.
And that’s how you can turn off power to the gate in the No Rest For The Wicked Mission. Remember that simply winging it is not always a viable strategy for this map, especially on higher difficulties or if you’re going for a stealth run.
