How To Beat Max Glacier Bankai Easily
This guide provides step-by-step instructions and strategies to help you overcome this formidable foe and progress on your journey to becoming the ultimate Soul Reaper. Let’s start!
Stat Build
You’ve just achieved victory with your fight with your Bankai for the first time. And now, you want to maximize it.
In order to do this, approach the NPC. Initiate a spar by selecting “I wish to spar”, then choose “I wish to hone my skills”.
Once you do this, your Bankai boss will challenge you again. To fully max your Bankai, you’ll need to defeat it 20 times. Using a maxed Vitality build is time-consuming, taking at least 6 hours to complete.
So we recommend opting for a max Spirit Build with 490 Spirit Stats, 154 Reiatsu, and 154 Agility for a more efficient approach.
Recommended Skills
The Bankai Boss can easily two-shot or one-shot you when using the max Spirit Build, but this specific skillset can help you avoid that and defeat the Bankai more easily:
- Frozen Construct Fang – Send a guardbreaking projectile to knock your opponent before finishing them off with the souls of the fallen. This move deals more damage when mastered and scales with Spirit.
- Shinten Raiho – The user extends their arm forward, palm flat and facing the target, releasing a massive beam of electrical and spiritual energy. Normally, this move doesn’t break guards, but if you achieve max mastery, it breaks guards with the final hit.
- Hundred Ice Nights Purgatory – Thrust your weapon into the ground to launch ice spikes that knock enemies away. Create a wide hazardous area on the map, dealing slight damage to enemies within it. Mastering this technique will summon orbiting swords to aid you. This move’s effectiveness increases with your Spirit level.
- Tsuzuri Raiden – Infuse your weapon with electricity to boost the stun duration and damage of all your slashing attacks.
- Ultimate – Create a giant ice ball the size of a planet to crush your enemies within it. This power’s effectiveness increases with your Spirit level.
If you lack these skills or have only one, you can easily obtain a reset Skill Essence from Invasions or the Time Gate. These essences reset your skills, allowing you to choose new ones, and you can always retrieve your old skills. They can also be used to maximize or upgrade your current skills.
Methods
I’ll provide two methods that you can use to efficiently farm your Bankai.
The first method is ensuring Tsuzuri Raiden is active to increase your M1 damage. Begin the fight by using M1 and follow up with a combo extension using your Fang move, dealing over half of the enemy’s health and prompting them to use their Bankai.
When their invisibility frames end, strike them with your Shinten Raiho. Afterwards, you will have the window to inflict damage until it is defeated.
The second method involves the first phase of the first method. However, after his invisibility frame ends. Use your ultimate, then use Hundred Nights Purgatory and run around until he is defeated.
Repeat all this 20 times until you have maxed out your Glacier Bankai.
