The Elf on the Shelf is located in the Farm. To get there faster, you can access the teleport feature in the game.
If you haven’t yet, then you can just head there by foot. It is the seventh area on the map, just after Cherry Blossom and before Backyard.
Facing the Farm while standing from Cherry Blossom, look to your right and you will find the Elf on the Shelf sitting on the top crate.
Approach the elf and a prompt will pop up, allowing you to find the elf.
