Pet Simulator 99 is a Roblox experience all about hatching and collecting all sorts of cute pets, and the game is often updated with new content to keep things fresh.

Tons of New Eggs

If you want to see just how many new pets you can hatch in Pet Simulator 99 – Update 5, simply go back to where all the eggs are at and be amazed at how an entirely new row of them is now accessible.

Most of these new eggs will require you to have the new currency called Sapphire, so if you’re nowhere close to the current endgame, you’re going to have to grind some more to get these!

Advanced Digsite

Next up is Advanced Fishing in Update 5. Here, there are a bunch of fishing rods that you can purchase, and you can potentially get magic shards by participating in this minigame. These shards are used for the same new machine that we will talk about later.

Lucky Blocks

There is also Lucky Blocks in Update 5, where you have to break as many boxes as you can within the 15 minute time limit. If you manage to break enough, you can get a rare block that contains special rewards!

The Magic Machine

In one of the new areas, you will find the Magic Machine, which is where the magic shards and buckets of magic from earlier come into play.

These materials can be used on this machine to create various items, including an enchant that gives you a tiny magic orb companion that will help you deal damage on top of your pets.

Another noteworthy item that you can craft here is the Huge Potion, which will give you a whopping 300% huge luck bonus for a single hour. This is going to be really good for farming new pets!

Quality of Life Changes

Update 5 in Pet Simulator 99 came with a lot of quality-of-life changes that aim to improve the overall experience of players and add in various suggestions made by the community.

For one, owners of the bonus Daycare slots game pass will notice that it has been buffed and now provides you with 25 additional slots, making it even better for passively farming rewards.

Storage boxes have also been added into the game, and these can be used to store both items and pets. These can be purchased from the shop or found as a random drop out in the world.

Flags can also be stacked now, meaning that you can extend its duration by repeatedly placing a lot of them in a single spot. Players can do this up to 24 times for each flag.

Fishing has supposedly been simplified as well, and various changes were made to make it harder to get scammed in the Trading Plaza.

Various New Events

One of the more significant additions to Pet Simulator 99 is the presence of new events that can spawn randomly all around the map. These give you all types of rewards!

Flying Balloons can now show up all around the game, and if you have access to the Slingshot, you can shoot them down to receive a few free items!

Lucky Block events can also take place everywhere, and when this happens, breakable boxes full of random goodies will fall from the sky.

New Secrets

Finally, there are various new secrets hidden all around the map added in Update 5. Shiny hunters are going to want to find all of the new Shiny Relics scattered around the new areas.

There are also Secret Locked Doors that you can now unlock in older areas. In order to open them, you’ll have to make use of the Secret Door Keys that you can find althroughout the update!
