Play as a good ol’ granny’s adopted pet in Roblox Pet Story! There’s a range of playable pets you can pick from and eight possible endings for the story of the game. This guide will tell you how to get the Tropical Ending in Pet Story and how to get the Mako Skin in this playthrough.
Tropical Ending and Mako Skin – How To Get Them
The Tropical Ending has one of the shortest playtimes of all the current Pet Story endings. It takes around 10 minutes in total to complete and pays tribute to Pet Story’s main series, the Airplane series. To get this ending, there are a few key choices you will have to make to make sure the story ends the way you want it to.
I’ll enumerate all of these choices in order below.
1. Ignore The Pigeon
The first decision you have to make in Pet Story happens after fighting the cockroach. The pigeon will mock Canela and you will have the option to 1) Follow The Pigeon or 2) Ignore The Pigeon.
Ignore the Pigeon. This will prompt you to tell the other pets about Canela and how she’s probably on her way to the dump yard, and they will mention that the rats have probably taken her to the sewers.
2. Figure Out What Happened To Mako
The group will decide how to split up. One group will go and save Canela while the other will stay and find out what happened to Mako. If you want the Tropical Ending, make sure to join the group that will Figure Out What Happened To Mako.
3. Get Money And Defeat The Snakes
Eventually, you will end up at the Pet Airport to head to Cat Island. You will need to look for money around the Airport. After you find 10 Moneys, board the plane and pick any seat you want. You are now on your way to Mako!
The plane will experience turbulence and oh no! There are snakes on the plane. Defeat the snakes and make sure that the plane gets to Cat Island.
Once you’ve cleared the plane, Take A Seat and make it to your destination.
4. Break The Barcade And Light The Torches
Now that you’re on Cat Island, you need to access a path. Break The Barcade by hitting it a few times. You will eventually fall victim to a trap and end up in a mysterious area. Here, you need to Light 3 Torches.
Once you successfully light all 3 torches, a door will open and you can leave the room.
5. Defeat Tikis’ Pets
Upon leaving the room, you’ll be ambushed by a few waves of Tiki’s Pets. Defeat them.
After the battle, Lana will say she can smell Mako nearby at the top of the Pyramid. Run up to the top of the pyramid and you will encounter the Tiki King.
6. Defeat The Tiki King
This is it! Fight the Tiki King and Defeat The Tiki King. This boss will charge at you and attack you by slamming onto the ground. Avoid the red markers on the battlefield and run around as much as possible to avoid his attacks.
Once you beat the boss, you will discover that the Tiki King is actually Mako! You can collect the Tiki Mask after beating the boss. Be careful, as whoever puts on the mask may be affected by Dr. Flea’s curse.
And that’s it! Follow all of these choices and you should get the Tropical Ending and the Mako Skin at the end of your playthrough.
