Phantom Brigade is a turn-based tactics game that features a lot of mechs. So for any mech fans that like the Mobile Suit series, you should definitely check this out. While it doesn’t feature the anime designs from said franchise, Phantom Brigade does have a lot of cool-looking original mech designs. It also features a lot of RPG loot elements that might attract those who like seeing numbers on a screen.
In this guide, we will show you how to salvage properly in the game so you won’t make any rookie mistakes.
Salvaging Guide – Phantom Brigade
Salvaging is actually pretty easy in the game. All you need to do is hover over the item when in the salvage screen, look at the “+!” banner that pops up above the item, and examine it as it will tell you if the item is new, higher level, or a higher quality item.
But it can still be pretty confusing because the game does have an unconventional way of showing you how things work.
Here’s a simplified explanation:
- If it’s a new thing you don’t have, there’ll be a banner saying “Cannon +!” or “Light/Arm +!” or etc
- if it’s a higher-quality version of a thing you have, it’ll say “Uncommon +!” or “Rare +!”
- and if it’s a higher-level version of a thing you already have, it’ll say “Level 4 +!” or the like.
