RPG games have staple game mechanics that make people say “oh, it’s like an RPG”. One of those is Alchemy or Brewing. It goes under many names, but it is most notably just considered either Alchemy or Brewing in most games. Alchemy is the little cousin of Crafting, which you can also do in Pilgrammed. While Crafting lets you create gear to help your stats physically, Alchemy lets you create potions and such to help you perform better, albeit only temporarily. In this guide, we will show you how Alchemy works in Pilgrammed.

Alchemy Guide – Pilgrammed

How to Do Alchemy

Alchemy is actually very easy to do. All you have to do is find a Cauldron, throw whatever ingredients you have on you into the Cauldron, brew it, and voila! You have yourself a potion. Is it good? Probably not. Is it drinkable? Yes. However, doing Alchemy and understanding Alchemy are two very different things.

Anyone can do Alchemy, but having to actually craft specific potions with specific traits is how you can differentiate an amateur and a professional. But how can you understand Alchemy? Well, you will need to look at the ingredients you have.

Each ingredient will have different stats and different traits. Let’s say you want to brew a potion using Choco Bean and a Sinister Fruit. A Choccy Bean can heal 18 of your health and give you a 15% speed boost for 9 seconds. A Sinister Fruit can help you heal 15% of your health. The amount varies depending on your HP.

If you combine together, you will get a Sinister Coconut Potion. This can heal 15% of your max health while simultaneously increasing your speed by 11% for 15 seconds. You may notice that the effectiveness has been decreased by 4%, but the duration has increased by 6 seconds. This happens when you brew things together. Some stats will go up, some will go down.

The trick to getting the results you want is by looking at the ingredients first. As you can see, brewing a Choco Bean and a Sinister Fruit together made a potion that have both traits from the fruits, albeit one of the traits have a slightly reduced effectiveness but increased duration. There are recipes out there that Pilgrammed players have shared everywhere, so look into those if you don’t feel like experimenting.

He's also into multiplayer games that strike his fancy, specifically games like Call of Duty and Fortnite. Most especially Fortnite since he can play as different Marvel and DC characters in a battle royale against other famous and iconic characters.
