You are not able to Rename Cities in Plan B Terraform as of right now.
The devs haven’t included anything of the shape in the game that will let you to do so. This means that whatever city name you get or you choose from the early stages of the game, that will stick and stay until the very end.
There have been a couple of workarounds that players have managed to do in order to change city names. Here we shall give you some of simple steps to do so:
- Open up a save game by using the Hex Editor
- Look up and search for any types of city names here
- Replace the name of a city that you have found with a name of your own that has the same length as the original
- If you want to have a shorter name than the original, however, you shall need to replace the remaining character with 00
Follow these steps and you shall rename all of your cities in the name that you want. It is really unfortunate that the devs haven’t given this opportunity in the game, but hopefully, in the future, it will be implemented.
