But, good news! The new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet joined the open-world approach, unlike its predecessor versions.

That being said, it will be highly possible for you to spot and catch Frigibax without waiting for the late game. All you have to do is find all the locations where Frigibax is found.

How to Catch Frigibax Quickly in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

The first thing you have to know if you want to catch a Frigibax is where its habitat is located.

As an ice and dragon type of Pokemon, it is just understandable that this Pokemon will inhabit the Ice Mountain or the Glaseado Mountain.

However, even after you travel all the way from the university up to the mountain, it is still not guaranteed that you can spot a Frigibax because they are rarely seen around.

What you can do now is make a Perfect Dragon Shiny Sandwich and eat it to increase your encounter chance of dragons. You will only need an avocado and 2 salty herba mystica as its ingredients.

Once you have eaten this specific sandwich, you can now proceed on grinding the mountain and pursue the Frigibax.

You will notice that there are several Frigibax around if you eat this, so make sure to prepare one if you really want to have this kind of Pokemon.

Aside from that, it is also recommended to go here to Glaseado Mountain at night. This is because Frigibax seems to be more active and seen at night time.
