The Pokemon series has been known to release creative pokemon designs and even more creative ways how to obtain them. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are no exception to this fact.
Popular pokemon like Charcadet, Ceruledge, and Armarouge can be captured in very creative ways.
However, if you don’t know the steps on how to get them, they can be very annoying and time-consuming.
Luckily, this guide will teach you how to get all, depending on what version you are using. Let’s get started.
How to Get Charcadet
You can access and encounter Charcadet very early in the game. This elusive pokemon can be found in the southern province within Cortondo(West).
To find Charcadet, simply follow the path from the health center, and go into the hidden area where there will be a patch of grass containing Charcadet.
It’s only level 14 and can be accessed early game so it’s not going to be hard to fight against it and capture it.
You will need this pokemon to be able to level it up to either Armarouge or Caaruledge depending on which version you are currently using, either scarlet or violet.
How to Get Ceruledge
Once you have captured Charcdet, you can level it up into a Ceruledge or Armarouge depending on which version you’re using.
If you’re on Scarlet, you can only evolve it in Ceruledge using Auspicious armor.
To get this armor, you need to capture 10 Bronzor. This pokemon will not be difficult to catch since it’s available in lower levels.
You will be able to find Bronzor in the yellow-marked locations in the mid to lower regions of the map indicated in the illustration above.
How to Get Armarouge
For pokemon Violet, you will need to collect 10 Sinistea chips. They are relatively harder to find relative to Bronzor. Sinister only spawns in 2 locations and they’re level 40 so it’s going to be harder to take them on.
The locations are the yellow-marked locations in the location above. They’re far away from each other so choose one that’s nearest to your current location.
Once you have 10 Bronzor if you’re on scarlet and 10 Sinistea chips if you’re on violet, head over to Zapapico(West). Head over to the town square, and talk to this NPC.
The NPC can be found beside a fountain. If you’re on violet, the NPC will be female while on scarlet it will be a male. So don’t panic if it doesn’t look the same in the illustration.
Trading the items you have gathered with this NPC will give you either Auspicious or Malicious armor, which is needed to evolve your Charcated into either one.
Simply follow these steps to get all these sweet new pokemon!
