Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have a large number of Pokemon that have returned from previous regions.

Because all Pokemon now spawn in the overworld, catching a favorite species in the Paldea region is much less frustrating than in previous games in the series.

The open-world aspect of the game eliminates the tedious hours of walking through tall grass in search of a rare spawn. This includes the enigmatic Dratini.

How to Get Dragonite in Pokemon Scarlet and Viole

The moment your Koraidon/Miraidon gains the ability to swim by defeating the Open Sky Titan, nothing is stopping you from catching some of your favorite Pokemons found in bodies of water.

Once you go a little further North, you’ll arrive at Casseroya Lake. This lake is home to the largest variety of Water and Dragon-Type Pokemons you’ll ever see in the game. This includes Dragonite, the OG favorite Dragon-Type of all.

Getting Dragonite

In order to get Dragonite, you must get Dratini or Dragonair first. Fortunately, both of them can be found in Casseroya Lake.

However, this requires you to have the ability to swim. If you haven’t gained this ability yet, you need to fight the Open Sky Titan, as stated above.

Once you get your hands on a Dratini or Dragonair, all you need to do is reach level 55 by engaging in battle or feeding it EXP candies for it to evolve into Dragonite.

Most of the Pokemon found in Casseroya Lake are already level 50 or higher, which makes the evolution process easier.
