Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: How to Get Glimmet and Evolve in Glimmora

The new Rock/Poison-type Glimmet can only be found in specific locations.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players must catch a vast expanse of new species unique to the Paldea region in order to complete the Pokedex.

While some options, such as Lechonk are relatively easy to find, others, such as Glimmet, will be more challenging to locate.

How to Get Glimmet and Evolve to Glimmora in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Players can see Pokemon as they walk through Scarlet and Violet’s overworld maps, just like in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Players will have a better chance of spotting rare species as they explore. They will, however, need to keep their eyes open if they want to find Glimmet in the areas they will explore.

Glimmet, a Rock/Poison-type, is a new Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet. If you want to catch this Pokemon, keep reading the guide below.

Catching Glimmet and Evolving to Glimmora

Like other rare Pokemon, Glimmet can be found in caves around the Paldea region. The cave near Alfornada is one of the easiest you can get into. Other areas include:

  • South Province (Area Six)
  • Zapapico
  • Below Glaseado Mountain
  • Between West Province (Area Two) and West Province (Area Three) – where the rivers intersect
  • Below North Province (Area Three)
  • Above North Province (Area One)
  • North Province (Area Two)

Glimmet evolves into Glimmora at Lv. 35. You can feed your Glimmet EXP candies to speed up the process.
