You will start unlocking your dragon’s abilities by talking to Arven. He will give you a quest wherein you have to search and defeat five Titans.

Each of these Titans is guarding an Herba Mystica that must be fed to your dragon in order to unlock one ability for each consumption.

Start off with the easiest one to be done. Go to the east of Naranja or Uva Academy. Once you arrive here, you will meet a giant crab called Klawf.

Take this head-on using POkemon of the specific types: water, grass, ground, steel, or fighting. This giant Klawf is actually easy to defeat, especially if you use any of these Pokemon types.

After you defeat Klawf, your Miraidon or Koraidon will be able to learn how to dash.

Lurking Steel Titan

The next titan is an Orthworm. Defeating this and feeding your Koraidon or Miraidon its guarded Herba Mystica will unlock its ability to jump higher.

Compared to the previous one, this titan is actually an annoying type of enemy. It will keep on burrowing under in order to escape, forcing you to chase it.

Defeat this immediately by using a fighting, ground, or fire Pokemon.

Open Sky Titan

In this location, you will have to deal with a giant Bombirdier. This titan guards the Herba Mystica for unlocking the ability to surf or swim.

You can go here by heading to the top of the mountain in the western part of the West Province found in Area One, Asado Desert.

Climbing the mountain will be a bit hassle. This Bombirdier will drop down rocks to prevent you from approaching the top mountain. However, it can easily be dodged if you ride on the back of your Miraidon or Koraidon.

Once you get to the top, take this down singlehandedly by using a fairy, electric, ice, or rock Pokemon.

False Dragon Titan

To meet the False Dragon Titan, go to the Northernmost Island in Casseroya Lake or in the Northwest side of Paldea. Once you arrive here, go straight to the island covered in Tatsugiri. Get to the bottom part and you should interact with the orange one to reveal Dondozo.

In order to defeat this giant, use either a grass or an electric type of Pokemon. Once you knocked this down, proceed to the bigger lake and repeat the process of interacting with the orange Tatsugiri to let Dondozo come out.

However, the name False Dragon Titan really lives up to its name.

When you have finally defeated Dondozo, you have to face the real False Dragon Titan–the orange tatsugiri.

You can immediately slay this by using a dragon or a fairy-type Pokemon. Once down, the Herba Mystican will unlock the ability to climb walls.

Quaking Earth Titan

Lastly, the Quaking Earth Titan will give you the Herba Mystica that will unlock the ability to glide.

Upon going to Asado Desert on the western part of Paldea, between Porto Marinada and Cascarrafa, you will encounter a Great Tusk.

To easily defeat this giant, use grass, ice, water, fairy, flying, or a psychic Pokemon.
