There are a lot of interesting and fun quests you can do in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Yet, it’s true that some of these quests may offer rewards that fall short of expectations, except for the chance to obtain unique Pokemon. However, there’s one quest that can give you 1 million Poke Dollars’ worth of items in the game—all you have to do is track down a rich couple as they travel to various locations!
In this guide, we’ll show you how to start this quest and where to find the Rich Couple in their adventure around the map. Now, let’s see where you can find them to get that cash!
Rich Couple O’Nare & Billy Locations (+1 Million Gold) | Teal Mask
In the game, you can find two NPCs which are known as the Rich Couple. The couple’s name is O’Nare and Billy and if you find and talk to them, they’ll start a quest.
This quest will lead you down some areas, and while doing so, you’ll get some items you can sell for Poke Bucks. The items they give in this quest can easily reach 1 million Poke Dollars, so let’s see how we can get this quest!
Starting The Quest
To start the quest, we’ll need to go to the Land of Kitakami and go to the southwest of Mossui Town. You can use the image below as a reference. They’ll be overlooking the southern parts of the town and are not that hard to find.
Below is what they look like, and they sort of stand out because of their gold-trimmed clothes. This is the Rich Couple and after talking to them, and they’ll either do a Pokemon battle with you or give you items.
The battles are really easy, so you don’t have to worry about them. Afterward, they’ll move to a new location that you’ll need to go to.
Location #1
The next area is in the Paldea Region. From there, you’ll want to look at the northeastern parts of the map. They’ll say that they’ll be located near a waterfall in the area, and the exact area is shown in the image below.
Below is the image of where they are, and you can use the mini map on the lower right for the exact location. Once you’ve talked to them, they’ll move on to the next area.
Location #2
The next area they’ll want to go to is in a remote area to the southeast of the map. Again, the exact location is shown in the image below, just east of Los Platos. They’ll be on top of a cliff again, overlooking the view.
You can see them in the image below, overlooking the view to the east. Talk to them again, and we’ll go to the next location!
Location #3
For the third location, we’ll need to go back to the Land of Kitakami. We’ll have to go to the southwest of Mossui Town. There, you’ll find an apple orchard, and the couple can be found in the southern parts of it.
You can find them just admiring one of the apple trees in the orchard, as shown in the image below. Talk to them, and then we can go to the next area.
Location #4
The next place we’re going to is the Casseroya Lake, which is to the northwest of the map. From the center of the lake, go to the Southwestern small island there. Right in the middle, you’ll find the couple!
Again, you can use the images above and below for reference. Talk to them, and we’ll be off to the next area!
Location #5
Finding them in this next area can be a bit more challenging as there are no distinct landmarks to guide you. Head towards the northeastern part of the map, where the landscape is covered in snow, and you should encounter them. To get a more exact location, refer to the image below.
You can use a flying Pokemon to fly around and get a better view of the place and find them. Once you do, talk to them, and we’ll go to the last area!
Location #6
The last area we’ll be going to is the southeastern parts of the Great Crater of Paldea. You’ll need to climb the mountain, where the couple will be standing on one of the cliffs.
Once you talk to them here, this will be the end of the quest line and and your inventory should be brimming with valuable items.
You can expect to collect Nuggets, Big Nuggets, Pearls, and Pearl Strings, all of which can be sold for a good sum, potentially netting you a million Poke Dollars without much effort.
Doing this quest will also give you the Glitterati Rotom Phone Case, as well as the “Oh No!” emote. Nice little bonuses with your cash reward!
