Pokémon Scarlet & Violet adds a lot to the already expansive games, but did you know that you can also take classes too? Just like other games like Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Persona, and even going so far back as Rockstar’s Bully, Pokémon finally hopped on the train of doing school stuff that not a lot of triple AAA games do. But is there really a point to taking classes? Why not just go out and catch Pokémon and fight with them? You can find the answer why by reading ahead.

You Get Great Rewards
There are several classes that you can do in Scarlet and Violet, but they are all completely optional. However, they do offer great rewards when you do these classes. Not all of them will, but there are some that will give you awesome rewards. Those are:
- Art
- Battle
- Biology
- History
- Home Economics
- Language
- Math
These are unlocked very early on in the game, and it is worth doing so as these rewards help in the long run of the game. But as stated before, these are completely optional, and you don’t really need the rewards to beat the game. They just make your life easier down the line.
