She is not sweet and kind, but also a very powerful professor that will teach you a lot of valuable skills that will make you a better overall wizard. Hogwarts Legacy – Professor Hecat Assignment Guide

The picture above represents what are the main tasks that you need to do in order to complete the Professor’s Hecat assignments. The first one will be to win a total of 2 rounds of Crossed Wands while the second one is to do a full round of spell combination practice with Lucan Brattleby. They are both very easy tasks to pass.

Lucan Training Dummy

For this one, you will need to go around the map following the dots on your mini-map and just locate Lucan in the hallway next to the gate. Once you see him, simply choose the first option of talking and you are going to get the Dummy practice started.

Once you get the Dummy coming in front of you are going to see a lot of symbols on the top center of your screen. These are the combinations that you will need to do. Each symbol is a different representation of what you need to cast.

For example, you need to do Accio and lift the Dummy in the air, then bash it with normal attacks all the way through. The biggest goal and objective of this assignment is that you do all the proper and correct attacks all the way through. Make sure that you cast all of them while the Dummy is flying in the air without actually falling down and you will complete it.

Two Rounds Of Crossed Wands

Once you talk to Lucan again after you have finished the first task, you are going to see the availability of the next round of Crossed Wands. You can choose the option of dueling with a partner or not but this will not matter at all for this task.

You will simply need to win the duel that will be started now. There is not a clear method of how to fight in these duels, simply use all the things you have been taught so far. Use protection when it’s needed and pushback spells when they have shields and so on.

After you will win a total of 2 rounds of these duels you can go back to Hecat and you’ll complete the quest and assignment. Congratulations!
