Players in Project Mugetsu can now become Quincy in its latest update. Quincy is another race that players can pick once they have unlocked it. However, unlocking the race won’t be a walk-in-the-park type of situation.
In this article, I will show you how to get the Quincy race and how to use it. I will list down all the locations and NPCs related to completing Quincy’s storyline.
How To Get Quincy
To get Quincy, you need to finish her storyline. Unlike the other race, you’ll only need to kill a certain boss. But this time, it’s a whole new situation. However, I’ll make it easy for you and you’ll get Quincy in no time!
Here’s what you need to do to unlock Quincy:
- Talk to Fresh – Go to the Quincy location and head to the hospital. You’ll find Fresh at the entrance. Once you talk to Fresh, you’ll need to kill a bunch of Soul Reapers and obtain a key. After acquiring a key, talk to Fresh again to complete the first quest.
- Finding a Book – Now head to the area inside the hospital where you can enter different rooms. Inside one of those rooms is a book called Quincy Book that you need to interact with. Once you have interacted with the book, head back to Fresh for the third quest.
- Douda – An NPC will spawn at the back of the hospital named Douda, which you need to interact with. He will tell you that you need to go to Hueco Mundo to find an NPC named Tyrone.
- Finding Tyrone – To find Tyrone, he is inside the cave just north of the spawn area. Talk to Tyrone and he’ll ask you to kill a bunch of Hollows to obtain an Hollow mask. Give Tyrone the mask to complete the quest and your next location is Wandenreich.
- The Quincy King – Once you spawn in Wandenreich, head south of the castle and you’ll find a cave where the Quincy King is sitting on his throne. Once you talk to him, you’ll receive his blood.
To unlock the Quincy race, all you need to do is consume Yhwach’s Blood and you’ll transform into a Quincy. Your clothes will become white and you’ll have new abilities as well. However, consuming the blood will only have an 80% chance of turning you into a Quincy.
The Quincy Race
Now that you have unlocked the Quincy race by consuming the King’s blood. You’ve unlocked a new set of abilities and a Bow. Unfortunately, there are only 3 abilities available for the Quincy since it’s only been out for quite a while.
Quincy abilities:
- Explosive Swipe – Deals heavy damage by launching a lightning bolt at the enemy target.
- Easter Lunge – You will lunge at an enemy target and deal damage. Easter Slam and Easter Lunge are a great combo to use.
- Easter Slam – Approach an enemy and your character will slam the enemy on the ground, dealing heavy damage. Best used after lunging onto a target with Easter Lunge.
That’s pretty much it about the Quincy race. It is one of the most powerful races in Project Mugetsu. However, having an 80% chance of unlocking the race after drinking the blood of the Quincy King, means you’ll start all over again with the quests if you fail.
