Players in Project Mugetsu that had unlocked the Quincy race, can now unlock the Voltstanding. The Votlstanding is the upgraded version of the Quincy race. Giving you the upper hand against all races in the game.
In this article, I will show you how to get the Voltstanding. However, this will not be an easy quest. A difficult challenge awaits. It will put your knowledge and skills to the test.

How To Get Voltstanding
There are 2 quests that you need to do in order to get the Voltstanding. Follow the steps below and you’ll have the upgrade for the Quincy race in no time. However, if you don’t have the Quincy race yet, check out our guide, on how to get the Quincy.
If you already have the Quincy race unlocked, proceed below with the walkthrough of how to get the upgrade for your Quincy.
Douda’s Second Request
You remember Douda, right? The NPC behind the Hospital that helped you in the first place. He has another request that you need to complete in order to proceed with the next quest.
- Talk to Douda and he will ask you to kill 35 Players that already obtained Shikai. Now, this is hard to accomplish, considering that some players with Shikai are very strong. I recommend train first, before finding your targets.
- However, there is another option. You can create an alternative account with the Shikai or ask a friend to let him be killed 35 times. Killing the same person with a Shikai will result in 1 kill.
After relentless hours of killing players with Shikai. You will receive a Quincy Medallion. Equip the medallion and you will be teleported to the Voltstanding Obby. Now, this is going to be the hardest part of the quest. But the guides below will help you.
The Voltstanding Obby
Players that received and equipped the Quincy Medallion, will be teleported to an Obby. In the Obby are different obstacles and questions that are related to the story of Bleach. You will be answering questions about Bleach’s lore, characters, and many more.
Also, if you fall or die in the Obby, you need to restart from the very beginning. The Obby itself can be difficult. Perfect timing and jumping is the key to completing the Obby.
Listed below are possible questions and the correct answers:
- Which Espada had the rank of 4? – Ulquiorra Cifer
- Who is responsible for creating the ‘Modified Souls’? – Kisuke Urahara
- What is the ultimate goal of Sosuke Aizen? – To overthrow the Soul King
Here are the other possible questions and answers for the Obby Quiz.
Once you answer the 3 questions and the 3 Obby obstacles, you need to equip the Quincy Medallion and walk to the teleporter shown in the picture below.
You will be teleported to another location. But this time, your goal is to eliminate the Quincy called Explosion. Be careful and plan your attacks properly. If you die, you will restart with the whole Obby again.
Once you defeat Explosion, you will now have the Voltstanding upgrade, called the Explosion. This will give you more damage and a red wing for aesthetics. You need to fill up the blue bar right beside the health bar to activate Explosion.
