Decision making in video games, let alone Project Mugetsu in Roblox can be difficult at times, especially if you don’t like the idea of grinding for more than 12 hours and losing 40% of your progression only to end up going hollow.

There’s only a total of five Shikai in the game so that tones things down a notch when it comes to actually making a choice, and in this tier list we aim to help you decide which path suits you best. Here’s hoping you won’t name your weapon anything embarrassing like Chunchunmaru.

Shikai Tier List – Project Mugetsu

This tier list will assume that you’ve already gone to Soul Society, you can do that with the Senkaimon skill, and gives you passage to the Soul Reaper territory. Another thing to consider is that you should already be level 15 and have fought Zanpakuto to continue on. Lastly, don’t forget to have fun, especially if your Shikai didn’t make it to the top of the list!

S-Tier

Ryujin Jakka

A Shikai with three combo extenders will definitely have a place somewhere at the top! Now before you say that the other Shika also offer the same thing, don’t forget that this comes with fire damage, which is kind of broken already if you think about it.

Senbonzakura

With this Shikai, you can decide to play long-range or push up and be aggressive. Not to mention that your final skill also has the ability to stun your enemies long enough for you to cut them down permanently, should you ever wish to close that distance.

A-Tier

Hyorinmaru

An uncommon Shikai, but that just makes it all the better thanks to the freezing damage it deals. It’s great to use against opponents that don’t have any decent clan buffs, but the damage dealt can certainly be better at times.

Zangetsu

The most common Shikai on the list, if you’re still trying to learn the basics. The AoE and guard-breaking moves are pretty effective in the hands of a good player so it still will take some getting used to.

B-Tier

Kamishini

Kamishini could’ve easily been moved up a tier if all your skills weren’t limited to combo finishers. One of your skills can even be canceled by an opponent and leave you with doing the animation without dealing any damage.

What’s nice is that you don’t have to get too close to your opponent thanks to your weapon’s range, so it’s not a bad trade-off if you think about it.

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
