Perhaps Roblox’s most famous Demon Slayers-inspired game, Project Slayers might receive the long awaited Update 2.
For a few months, the game has not received a single update from the developer who had gone quiet since 1.5. But for the first time from the dev Ouw himself, we’re getting somewhat clear news.
Update 2 for Project Slayers is just on the horizon. So, if you’ve been looking for the best time to start grinding in preparation, now’s the time!
Everything We Know About Update 2
To preface, we shall remind players and fans that while the game “is not being abandoned,” Ouw explained that he was focused on pursuing higher education. His tight schedule made it challenging for him to release regular updates because Project Slayers was his “first ever project” and was “badly coded.”
Not to mention contents took “months” to produce, but he noted that “an update will come if need be.”
But most recently, he teased the followers in his Discord server with a date: 2/#/2024. It’s safe to assume this might be the Update 2 date.
Over the months, he’s also actively shared snippets of new breathings and UI changes to the game. Here are some of those:
- New Breathing Techniques: Stone Breathing and possibly Love Breathing (showcase is of the ultimate)
- New Blood Demon Art (Obi Manipulation): in a separate, lengthy showcase of Obi Manipulation, all of the skills have been animated.
- New gears and equipment
- New Housing System
- New Map Selection UI
- New Maps (possibly the Entertainment District)
It’s safe to say that Update 2 for Project Slayers finally seems like it’s on track for February release. Several showcases, UI revamp, and sneak peeks at least hint that the developer does have content to release.
