In this guide, we will take a look at everything you need to look at related to the Gambler class. This includes the complete move set and the various ways you can use it in. There are some powerful combos you can pull off with it, so you won’t want to miss this. With that said, let’s get into it!
Complete Gambler Guide & Best Combos
The Gambler in Project Smash is a new class that actually has some powerful and unique moves. They have a lot of both Extend and Ender potential. So, you can pull off some really powerful combos with it.
The Gambler Class costs a total of $20,000.
It has a total of 4 moves – not including the normal M1s. First up, we’ll be taking a look at three of the moves.
After that, we’ll be taking a look at the third move separately, as it’s incredibly unique and complex. Finally, we will be looking at a really cool combo you can use to destroy your opponents.
SIDE NOTE: If you didn’t know, there was also a Wraith move set added to Project Smash before this update. You can also do some really cool combos with it. We have it all laid out in our Complete Wraith Guide.
Gambler Move Set
Starting off, we will be taking a look at three moves from the Gambler class in Project Smash. Additionally, we’ll also be looking at the M1 moves. You’ll be able to use all of these to extend combos, with some being used for ending them.
Keep the damage numbers in mind as they’ll help you understand how powerful combos can be.
Click (M1 Move)
Starting off, we have the normal M1 move that you can do with the normal click button. The Gambler will flick his cane at the enemy – dealing 3% damage per hit.
Using the click button three times in a row will do a simple combo – after which the animation will simply repeat. You can use the M1 moves as both an Ender and Extender in Project Smash.
Lottery Money (1 Button)
When you activate Lottery Money, the Gambler will summon a bag of money and start swinging it rapidly in a circle. Each swing will deal damage to the opponent.
At the end of the animation, he will grab the enemy and swing them around before throwing them ahead. In total, you can deal 17% total damage provided all the hits land.
You can use it as a Flick Extender and Ender. Speaking of money, if you want to make some actual cash in game, we can help you out with that too. Check out our Best Way To Make Money guide to learn more!
Slot Machine (2 Button)
Upon activation, the Gambler will stand on his cane and flick his left hand. This will summon a Slot Machine that will fall from the ground on to the enemy. It deals 10% damage per hit. You can use it both as an Extender and Ender – as it’s pretty simple to use.
The next move in the list should be Dice Throw activated with the 3 button. But we’ll be taking a special look at that later in the guide as it’s a bit more advanced to use!
Blade Flurry (4 Button)
The Gambler runs forward and unsheathes his cane, revealing a blade. After that, he will swing it around multiple times – with each hit dealing damage. The final hit pushes the enemy far away. In total, the Blade Flurry move deals 15% total damage if all hits land. You will primarily be using it as an Ender.
Next, we’ll be looking at the Dice Throw move, which is the star of the show when it comes to the Gambler. If you enjoyed this showcase, you’ll likely enjoy our Kraken Complete Guide too. We’ll show you some great combos there too!
Dice Throw Move (Gamble Passive)
The Dice Throw is a unique move to the Gambler class in Project Smash. You can activate it using the 3 button. Upon activation, the Gambler will throw a dice and hit it with his cane towards the enemy. If the hit lands it activates the Gamble Passive.
The Gamble Passive results in the dice rolling. Depending on what color the dice lands at, the Gambler will receive a random buff. Here are the buffs that you can receive with the Gambler class depending on the color that you get in Project Smash:
- Blue
- Passively heal for 10 seconds
- Gold/Yellow
- Receive an overall damage buff
- Red
- Enhance all your abilities
- Resets 3rd ability cooldown
- Green (Jackpot)
- Does all of the above
- Resets all cooldowns
- Plays unique music
So, your goal as the Gambler will be to try and get the Green buff for the most benefits to your damage and combos!
Additionally, the enhanced effect of the Red Gamble buff has a unique effect on the Gambler move set we saw earlier in the guide. You can take advantage of this buff to add more variety to your combos.
Here is the enhanced move set for the Gambler class in Project Smash with the Red or Green buff:
- Enhanced Blade Flurry
- Combo extends
- It has more range
- It deals a total of 15% damage.
- Enhanced Lottery Money
- It has more range
- It deals a total of 17% damage.
- Enhanced Slot Machine
- Drops 3 Slot Machines instead of 1
- It covers a larger range
- It deals a total of 15% damage
Now that you have a complete understanding of the Gambler move set, you can pull off some great combos with him. We’ll be looking at a really powerful combo next. You can also check out our Golem Complete Guide for a look at another powerful class in Project Smash!
Gambler Best Combo
The Gambler can pull off a variety of combos with the moves that he has. The Enhanced moves in particular can give you a lot of options.
However, we’ll be looking at a combo that you can use to absolutely destroy enemies. It’ll make use of practically the entire move set that we’ve seen for the Gambler. You can deal a whopping total of 197% damage with this combo.
This best combo can be done the following way:
3 M1s + Downslam Extend (DSE) + 3 M1s + Slot Machine + 3 M1s + Downslam Extend + 3 M1s + Dice Roll + 2 M1s + Downslam Extend + (if Dice Roll leads to Red or Green color) Blade Flurry + 3 M1s + Slot Machine + 3 M1s + Dice Roll + 3 M1s + Lottery Money
If you didn’t know, you can do a Downslam Extend by jumping up and clicking down. It does seem like a complicated combo, so we recommend that you divide it up. Start off by pulling off only the start of the combo. Eventually, you’ll be able to build up to it and master the entire thing.
You can also convert this large combo into multiple small ones depending on the situation that you are in a fight when playing Project Smash.
That’s everything you need to know for the Complete Gambler Guide – including the best combos you can pull off. This class is incredibly overpowered at the moment, so we strongly recommend you take full advantage of it.
